Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.

I don't give a dam if anyone likes me or not on a message boards. I do enjoy having 'lively' discussions about nothing at all, and sometimes it's really cool to get a '#######' reaction. Nice

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The wife joined VJ to keep from getting homesick, and read other people's stories. Some of the threads got me interested in the discussion. Soon, I was posting more than the wife, so I got my own account. The wife says it's better for me than surfing for Hentai and Japanese porn.

Now, I have a purpose in life: To bring Steven over to the dark side!

So why are you here? You don't seem to like getting into arguments but you're not shy about posting new threads.

May I ask...and I don't mean to offend you or anyone here - Do you and Nessa go out or meet with friends that often in real life?

Since I am home right now and not working and Daniel's deployed, VJ keeps me entertained and updated on immigration too. We are still far from being done with immigration and it helps to read stuff. Besides its a good place to talk and listen to all the familiar people and help new members.

I consider some people as friends on here, but I don't just always communicate on VJ with them anymore....now there is FB, Myspace, IM.....and Expats of course <waves> to the Expaters

I think VJ is special to me because the last few years have probably been the loneliest in my life regarding RL friends since moving away from my hometown in 06 and now here in the US....I could always be assured of a virtual chat or hug.

And, like RL friends the ones I have made here still accept me when I am at my crabbiest
