Hi all,

Can my wife (US citizen) file for me IR-1 / CR-1 and K3 at the same time?

What are the documents required?

Thx

Nope, you have to file I-130 first, once you get the NOA notice then you can turn around file for K3. Be advice that most of the time K-3 and CR1/IR1 do get approved the same time or within days. Goodluck

My advice is: read all the information you can find here before deciding. Personally I think CR1 is much better than K3.

Good luck! :star:

 Agree. CR1 is much better than k-3 and cost effective too

Please read the great guides on top of page here on VJ, the I130 and G325a has to be filed with uscis first and then when approved (currently taking 6-8 months) then it goes to nvc where all the rest of the documents are then needed. Goodluck.
