This morning i emailed the embassy to inquire about the status of my case as the DNA results were delivered on Friday. Well, they usually respond very quickly but this morning, they did not. Well i just got an email from them that said see attached. Well, the attached was a letter dated today that said that my husband can take this letter and pick up his visa any wednesday at 7:30AM. Yippee.

I just want to say thank you all for your help and support. Thank you so much for listening to me whine and cry. I really appreciate you answering my questions. In return, i will stay and help anyone that i can help with my experience. Thank you all again for your love and support.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

We will keep you in our prayers and please do the same for us as we are hoping that if not this week, next week our case will be complete and receive an interview letter in the mail.
