Just curious here.... I guess your online status still says pending, right?

I wonder if the customer service people (even 2nd level I/O) know about your approval.... I wouldn't be surprised if you call and they tell you that you're still pending....

I got postal confirmation of tranfer today. the below info for those who are waiting for it

Transfer emai: March 5

Date on Postal letter: March 19

Postage Stamp date: March 25

Recieved today: March 27

Hi Everyone,

We (well my husband really, as I’m not allowed to paint while pregnant) were about to re-paint the front porch steps on this sunny spring day (March 27^th), when in the afternoon the mail lady came to our doorstep. Now this is somewhat unusual, as rural postal workers don’t usually step out of their vehicles to deliver the mail here where I am. Anyways, she gives my husband his package to sign for and gives him the rest of our mail. He then comes back into the house, and gives me what he got and wedged in between the package, junk mail, and a pregnancy-related magazine…

I see a letter from the “US Citizenship and Immigration Services”, with the Vermont Service Center office return address on it, postmarked on March 25^th. So I quickly open in up, and find the following letter inside:

March 18^th 2009

(my name and address, A#, receipt number, my name as applicant/petitioner)

Dear Sir/Madam:

Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) Transfer Notice

This letter is to advice you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred your Form I-751 to the California Service Center. The office will notify you of the decision made on your petition.

If you would like more information please calls the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Any further correspondence should be directed to the California Service Center at the address shown below: USCIS, California Service Center, 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

Note: The receipt number listed above is for your CR189 record, therefore please include you’re a-file number on all correspondence.

Final note: (something about reporting change of address within 10 days on Form AR-11)

And to my disappointment, I realize that I only got the “paper hard copy of the VSC to CSC transfer notice” instead, 24 days later from when my case was originally transferred on March 2nd.

“Thanks for the ‘old news’ update, USCIS (lol..insert sarcasm here)!”.

Why are you telling me what I already know, as I got this update right away online from “California CRIS” on March 3^rd and printed out from my computer a copy of the transfer.

Save your postage and time, USCIS, and send the card instead!

By the way, I found it odd too that…

March 2^nd….Date of e-mail transfer notice (from CRIS)

March 18^th…Date of hard copy transfer letter (from Vermont)

March 25^th…Date of postmark on letter (from Vermont)

March 27^th…Received hard copy of transfer letter (from Vermont)

Gee, it takes about 1 month to inform of the transfer by mail and 9 days for the USCIS to mail a letter from Vermont to Western New York State? No wonder Vermont is still the “Very Slow Center”!

Oh well, at least I got mail from the USCIS. “Old News” is better than “No News”, right?

Well at least you did not get TWO letters with the same information on the same day. Almost one month after our transfer on Feb 25 we received two of the same letter. I was convinced one was approval of the PGC. Silly Me!

OMG, I got the approve letter today. Can Someone add me to the list. My rd is 06/23/08. My transfer date is 02/11/09. My decision date is 03/24/08. Thanks everyone and good luck to people still waiting.

Well, that means your approval is very close now. Many received their approval soon after the paper transfer notice.
Looks like the transfer dates are funky. Your RD is 08/05/08, and got transferred on March 03. Nova's RD is later than you and was transferred on 02/25 and already got approval. My RD is 08/26, and got transferred on March 02. Not sure how that was done.

Still waiting for paper transfer notice, maybe it in the mailbox when I go home.

Three guesses on what just came in today's mail............................no not an approval- the transfer notice, dated March 18!!! Wow, it took 9 days to go from Vermont to upstate NY?! If I was Daniel M. Renaud, I'd be too embarrassed to list my real name above the title "Center Director".

I wish... no mail today. :((

The date on my transfer letter from VSC was 3/12, postmarked 3/16, and I didn't receive it untill 3/19. It's now been over a week, so I'm hoping it will hurry up and get here!!!
