It is GREAT to see all of the 2/11 transfers getting approved. I'm hoping that our transfer date of 2/25 means we are next in line. Hopefully the birth certificate for our daughter and the affidavits will be enough to keep us from having an interview but you just never know.

Went to the mailbox today and there was a letter from California and I was excited even though I did not see the U.S.C.I.S. logo. Turned out to just be a coupon for a free Dr. Pepper. :whistle:

In your case...the card came before the baby...wow! Lol...And yet for you it took/will take equally the same time of 9 months in waiting for both! What a weird co-incidence, indeed...

Now that you have your 10 yr card, you can focus more importantly on your baby instead!

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that the Case Status Online tool is not necessarily an indicative of the actual status of your Petition, ours is still showing as pending with a "Last Updated Date" of 20 Feb 2009. So probably many of your approvals are on their way to you!!!!

As pointed out by Ant, our GC took exactly the same amount of time a Baby would have taken to be born!!! So we are now waiting for our little bundle of joy and we couldn't be any happier!!!!

Baby's due on May 15th, although it may be earlier, if you see my signature it says the baby should be around 4lbs now, well.... He was 3.9lbs about 3 weeks ago! YIKES! :unsure:

Don't worry, it should be on its way... I was thinking on the weekend that something might have been wrong with our file since I could see people getting approved before us that had filed (and been transferred) after us! Just panicking for no reason! :blush:

Definitely 2/25s next :) One thing I just noticed is that the approval letter came from Vermont -huh???

Theory (1) Since the case was originally at Vermont, it was only transferred to California for process, final result still have to come from Vermont after CSC decided the result.

Theory (2) CSC is in California, the government there is so broke so they have no money to purchase stationery, and since the case was in Vermont and VSC took the application check, so CSC had to borrow stationery from VSC to call it even for loaning VSC their man power. VSC actually help CSC to lower unemployment rate in that debate.

Oh Heck! I don't know! Whatever! Who cares? As long as the case got approved. Right wannabe_texan?
