My son and I will have our medical next week and our interview the following week. Can a relative accompny me on those times? I'm 32 weeks pregnant and it would be difficult for me to handle my toddler on my situation. What should my relative present to be admitted inside the premises?

Also my future father in law who is an American citizen will also accompany me during my interview since he will be around because he will accompany his mother back in the country. He is also my fiance's co sponsor in the petition. Will it be okay if we have 2 chaperon inside the USEM? One for interview purposes and another to assist me with my son.(Since lolo and grandson don't get along well since they live in 2 different continents. hehe!)

I hope they will allow us.

they dont really allow chaperones in. you can try asking the guard if you can have one chaperone in but definitely, they wont allow you to bring in 2 people. im not sure if they will allow you but you can try considering your current situation.

I think you can have a chaperon for your medical. Medical in st.luke's is really jampacked. The only people they allowed for chaperons are those elders, disabled or kids. It is always a case to case basis, and yours is too obvious and they will be considerate for you.:)

I am not just sure at the interview, i know they are very strict at the embassy.

Medical - Yes someone could chaperone you.

Interview - US Citizen could accompany you. Not sure for a filipino citizen.

Suggestion: Get a note from your attending OBGYN that you might need extra help through a chaperone or an escort to your interview due to your delicate situation. Hope this helps.

I hope USEM will give consideration.

My wife and anak were accompanied by my sis in law thru out the medical.

Hint! Go after 12 noon and beat the morning crowds.

DON'T go at 4 am like some do and stand in line for hours.

From what I've seen. USEM doesn't allow anyone to accompany the beneficiaries other than the petitioners.

Tell your man to get his butte over and join you.

Claudeth's Mom went with her to the medical, the interview and CFO but had to wait outside. At least she was there each time Claudeth was done with one of the proceses.

Piscean - what he meant is the schedule for medical. They have special considerations for your situation since you're pregnant. But I highly doubt it if you can bring chaperones onyour interview date. You can ask the enbassy guards discreetly and nicely. Goodluck

INTERVIEW-YES -my mom was my chaperon coz i have my 2 months old baby with me during the interview.

MEDICAL- NO- my chaperon was just left outside the SLEC building.

in your case the guard will allow you to have only 1 chaperon..no more than that.

Also bring with you some snacks esp. u have a child with you. You never know how long you gonna be there so just bring some snacks coz it is expensive to buy inside.

good luck.

You can go to the medical exam anytime you want to. My wife and anak went 1 1/2 months before their scheduled exam.
