My husband filed an I-130 petition for me in 2006 when he was still a an LPR. He will ba having his oath taking on March 25 and we are deciding whether we will be taking the K3 or the CR1 after he files for an upgrade of my petition.

I have read a lot of advantages of the CR1 and we would like to take this path. However, he has not yet filed for a separate I-130 petition for our daughter, he will file it after his oath taking. We are afraid that our processing will take longer if we are to wait for our daughter's approval. This leads us to choose K3 so our daughter will be a derivative of my I-130.

Kindly enlighten us so we can make the right decision. Thank you!
