I have my interview tomorrow. I hate interviews lol I am nervous but excited at the same time :)

Don't worry...it will be all over before you even know it. Take as much paper work u need and be prepared and organized....i heard that it's a good thing.

Update: I received an email from CRIS saying that they received my response to RFE today. That response was sent last June 18th and delivered on the 20th. It makes me wonder why they're saying that they just received it. :blink:

Anyway, mine and my son's case has both resumed now and we're AGAIN waiting. :unsure:

Good luck to everyone who is still in this journey and Congrats to all who already got their GC approvals and received the GC itself.

Feb 07 - met my Dream Guy

Jun 08 - arrived in the US

Jul 08 - ♥♥♥ WEDDING DAY ♥♥♥

Jul 09 - Temp GC received

Mar 12 - 10 yr GC received

Aug 13 - Naturalized

Alright this is just weird. I got an email from CRIS today telling me that

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 7, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

BUT I actually already received my GC last Jun 29th. Maybe just a delayed email??!!! Has anyone had this kind of email after they've physically received the card

i think it takes time for them to imput actions in the cris system, my GC was approved a week before the email said it was.

Alright, I got approved this morning at 11am!! WOO HOOO!!!! Time to celebrate tonight!!!!!!!! The advice I'd like to give everyone is to be prepared with lots of pictures, bills, any statements with your names on it, etc. This helps a WHOLE lot!!!!!!!! The rest should just be natural to both of you. Good luck!

Received Text Message & email: Application received and NOA1 sent on 03/28/2012

Bio Appt Sent: 04/26/2012 reveived email stating biomertic appt has been scheduled

Biometrics appointment notice received: 04/28/12

Biometric appointment: Schedule on 05/18/12 at Memphis-TN(done early on 05/03/2012)

Schedule for Interview:03/25/2012 Received Email, interview letter will received in 14 days

Interview Letter Received: 06/02/2012 received in mail

PASSES.. Naturalization Interview on 3 year base 07/02/2012 at 8:25am

Scheduled Oath Ceremony: On August 28th Received Email form USCIS, my oath ceremony scheduled.

Called USCIS about oath ceremony letter :09/10/2012 (where is my oath letter)

called again USCIS about oath ceremony letter :09/13/2012 (got locaton an time on phone thanks God)

Finally received oath ceremony letter:09/19/2012(was sent on 09/17/2012)

Oathe Ceremony was on: 09/21/2012 at 8:00am (little Rock, Arkansas)

Finally I am U.S. Citizen

Just a update, I got my Green Card 3rd July last Friday. Will be USCIS free for 21 months.

03/31/2009: received by Chicago office

04/07/2009: Checked encashed

04/08/2009: received NOAs of I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 (can't check process yet)

04/10/2009: received biometrics appt letter: appt time 04/30/2009

04/15/2009: Biometrics done

05/05/2009: Received initial interview letter for 06/11/09 (issused 04/30/09)

05/16/2009: EAD card production ordered

05/16/2009: AP sent

06/11/2009: Interview (Chicago, approved)

06/15/2009: Card production

07/03/2009: Receive Greencard

I thought that was the case hehe! It was just weird but I guess they are really late updating their system.

BTW, congrats to those who got their GC's!!!

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

07/24/09- Green card received in the post!

Praise be to God!

I received TWO EMAILS today from CRIS saying that THEY MAILED THE WELCOME NOTICE! :dance: 2 emails coz mine and my son's.

It makes me wonder though. They opened my son's RFE response more than a week before mine [according to CRIS], but they approved us on the same date. It could be that only ONE person is doing both of our cases. Whatever or whoever it is, I am so glad that we're approved! WOOOHOOO! :dance:

We still haven't received our greencard in the mail, despite being approved on June 5th and getting our Welcome Letter the next week.

How much longer should we give it before making an info pass appointment? If we call, can they tell us if it was mailed? We live in an apartment complex, so there's always the chance it got stuck in the wrong persons mailbox, and they chose to throw it out rather than bring it to us.
