Vera & I just got back from our AOS interview in Denver. APPROVED! Interview was a fast & easy. IO was super friendly. She asked to see pics, bank docs and that's really it. Then we just talked about the best places in Brazil to visit. lol :dance: :dance:

I-129F NOA1 : May 1st, 2008

I-129F NOA2 : September 5th, 2008

NOA2 hard copy arrived : September 11th, 2008

Interview- November 4, 2008

THANK YOU!!!! I bet you get your E-Mail any day now.. I received an E-Mail saying card production, then I checked the website and it said my card produced yesterday. I bet in the next week you will get yours.. So exciting, finally able to stop stressing out and stalking the website - lol.. :D

Oathe Ceremony was on: 09/21/2012 at 8:00am (little Rock, Arkansas)

Finally I am U.S. Citizen

Updates about our application. I received an email from CRIS that they received my son's response to RFE and his case resumed, while there's no update for my case yet. :blink:

That's all!

Good luck to those who are still waiting like me.

Jul 08 - ♥♥♥ WEDDING DAY ♥♥♥

I filed my wife AOS in March 2009. It's now almost the end of June 2009, We haven't gotten notice for the interview. No update at USCIS website. What takes them so song?

You're past 90 days after NOA, you need to call USCIS again, ask to talk to an Immigration Officer (IO), be insistent and persistent, ask WHY the file is is still pending.

Our Timeline below - CA Service Center - Consulate: Rio de Janeiro - Local Office: San Jose, CA

October 5, 2006: We meet for the first time!

March 8, 2008: I-129F K1-Fiancee Visa Application mailed

October 27, 2008: K1 VISA RECEIVED !! (233 days - 7 MONTHS 19 DAYS)

January 17, 2009: Entry - POE: JFK w/EAD (315 days)

February 6, 2009: WEDDING! (335 days)

March 24, 2009: Sent AOS, EAD, AP package to Chicago Lock box (381 days - 1 YEAR 16 DAYS)

June 30, 2009: Interview in San Jose, CA (479 days) - NOT approved, Sworn statement required

AUGUST 14, 2009: GREEN CARD IN HAND (524 days - 1 YEAR 5 MONTHS 6 DAYS)

May 31, 2011: Sent I-751 Removal of Conditions package (1179 days - 3 YEARS 2 MONTHS 23 DAYS)

January 25, 2012: 10-Year Green Card Received (1418 days - 3 YEARS 10 MONTHS 17 DAYS)

October 25, 2008 - Officially Mrs. Eaton

AOS Timeline:

March 10, 2009 - AOS package sent to USCIS via FedEx

March 12, 2009 12:21pm - AOS package delivered to USCIS

March 20, 2009 - Check cashed

March 21, 2009 - NOA1 for I-485, I-131 and I-765

March 24, 2009 - Received Biometrics Appointment

April 4, 2009 - Case transferred to CSC

April 7, 2009 - Biometrics appointment is done

May 4, 2009 - AP approval notice received

May 8,2008 - EAD received

June 3, 2009 - Welcome notice from CRIS via email

June 8, 2009 - Receive hard copy of welcome notice on the mail

June 15, 2009 - Card production ordered

June 27, 2009 - Green Card on hand ( 2 years )

I received the "Card production ordered" email this morning. :dance:

That's 2 business days after I received the email saying they had received my RFE documents.

Same thing with us. Filed AOS march 12th, i have called numerous times, had a service request done, still nothing, just got a $hitty email saying that the I-765 is being reviewed and we will have a responce shortly.... no $hit.

NVC Left : Aug.18, 2008

Packet 3 Received: Sept. 3, 2008

APPROVED!!!!

Dec. 19, 2008- Alfredo comes home!

Jan. 5, 2009: Alfredo and I become husband and Wife

March 10, 2009 AOS paperwork sent, will wait for it to arrive via tracking #

March 12, 2009 AOS paperwork arrives in Chicago

March 23, 2009 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765

March 30, 2009-Biometrics letter received, appt date April 10th @11am philly office

April 10, 2009-Biometrics appt. done, in and out in 15 minutes

Nov. 18, 2009-Card production ordered

Update: I received my green card in the mail today. :)

Thanks for everyone's company here at VJ! It made our K1/AOS journey smooth and no such hassles whatsover! Goodluck to those who still has to have their interview and Congrats on those who got approved and are awaiting their GC's.
