Hello.

My son's aos finally resumed processing .Got an email from cris rfe received and resume processing on June 23..blah blah blah..Hope next is approval.rfe is such a pain in the ***.Costly and stressfull..Good luck to all of us.

March 17, 2009 Check encashed

March 20,2009 NOA1 received for AOS,EAD,AP

March 23,2009 Biometrics appointment recvd

April 16,2009 Biometrics Appintment 8 am

APRIL 2 2009 CASE transferred to CSC

April 30,2009 Touched

May 01,2009 Touched

May 05,2009 EAD and AP Approved.(THANK GOD)

May 11,2009 AP Received

May 13,2009 EAD Received

May 15,2009 got my learner's permit for driving

June 02,2009 RFE for my Son's AOS

I filed my wife AOS in March 2009. It's now almost the end of June 2009, We haven't gotten notice for the interview. No update at USCIS website. What takes them so song?

TimeLine

Dec. 2004 - met online

Dec. 2005 - met in person in Bali, Indonesia

March 2006 - second visit to Semarang, Indonesia. (meet the parents)

Jan. 2007 - proposal/third visit (Enggament)

Nov-Dec. 2007 - fourth visit to Semarang and celebrated Christmas in Dec., New Year 2008. Travelled to Thailand in Dec.

March 10 2008 - I-129F mailed

March 13 2008 - received NOA1

July 18 2008 - Approval Notice on the mail.

July 31 2008 - Received letter from National Visa Center.

Aug. 5 2008 - Received email from American Embassy in Jakarta. Received attached forms for the beneficiary to fill out. Received an instructions for fiancee visa interviews.

Aug. 5 - Sept. 1 - begins gathering all the requirements for the Visa interviews.

Sept. 23 2008 - She went to Jakarta for the interview. It went smoothly.

Oct. 07 2008 - She went to Jakarta to pick up the Visa.

Jan. 12 2009 - arrived at SFO. No problem at Custom at POE .

Jan. 24 2009 - Went to City Hall to get married then file for marriage certificate.

Feb. 2009 - went to get SSA

March 11 2009 - File I485 Adjustment Status

March 20 2009 - NOA Date received

April 07 2009 - Biometric appointment

May 12 2009 -Received EAD card

June 2009 - USCIS status not updated. Called customer service....file is still pending.

July 13 - Received letter for interview .

Aug. 14 - Appointment for the interview. We passed the interview.

Aug. 17 - Received Welcome Notice - Application for permanent resident has been approved.

Aug. 20 2009 - GC received.

We finally got some news about our I-485, we have an interview schedule on 7/24 @ 2:30..

~9/8/08 - I-129F sent VSC

~9/17/08 - NOA1 received[/color]

~9/22/08 - I29F approved

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

~10-15-08 - Packet 3 dropped off at embassy

~11-21-08 - Interview!

~11-21-2008- VISA APPROVED!!!

~12-9-08 - arrived-POE JFK

married on ~2-27-09-

~3-13-09 Mailed AOS

~3-16-09 AOS received

~3-23-09 NOA1 received

~4-21-09 Biometrics appt

~3-31-09 Biometics Done!

~5/1/09 AP Received

~4/27/09 EAD order for production

~7/24/09 =AOS interview

~7/24/09 = GC approved pending completed vaccination record.

~8/27/09 = provided an updated vaccination record (hubby had to get another shot)

~9/08/09 = GC in Hand (360 days from filing k1)

Hello RFE friends :)

So, I sent the documents they wanted on June 11th, and I just now received a CRIS email saying that they received my papers and they are ready to resume the case processing. It's a relief.

Good luck to you all, I'll keep you posted!

So it was also 9 working days for you. That means that I should hear something from them on July 2nd.

Thanks for keeping us posted, as well as to prettyinpink.

Feb 07 - met my Dream Guy

Jun 08 - arrived in the US

Jul 08 - ♥♥♥ WEDDING DAY ♥♥♥

Jul 09 - Temp GC received

Mar 12 - 10 yr GC received

Here's my petition timeline

3/4- I-130 and supporting documents like AOS

3/5- received in INS

3/14- received noa from uscis appt. 3/28 for biometrics

3/28- biometrics

4/27- EAD card was ordered

5/4- EAD card was received

6/4- Interview

6/4- Production of card was ordered

6/11- Welcome letter was received

6/16- Production of card was ordered

6/24- waiting for Green Card :innocent:

I just checked my email n got CRIS email again...saying..below...

Just got one email yesterday that they received my RFE & resumed my case..

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered. :dance::dance:

On June 24, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register

After sending RFE was not sure how long its gonna take.. n that this early... But Thank GOD.. GOOD LUCK to all.. :thumbs: You all will hear soonn too...

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On June 24, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

Yesterday I had that Card Production order. n today Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident..

Is this way its work first card order n then welcome notice sent? OR first welcome notice sent? n then Card order?

I don't know... :unsure::unsure: but anyway..Send us GC soonn...

Is there ok to say that some AOS filers get an interview date and others are approved without an interview?

NOA I-485 April 1st 2009 - received

RFE - request initial evidence for I 864 April 13TH 2009

SENT evidence April 23rd 2009

BIOMETRICS DATE April 24th 2009 - Done

NOA I-485 JUNE 15th

INTERVIEW DATE JULY 30TH 2009 - APPROVED 10 year Green Card!!!!!
