Yupiiiiiii just got my EAD card in the mail!! Going to the SS administration to get my paperwork done! I cant believe i can work now!!!

Hi All,

I called the USCIS today to have my AP expedited. They asked me which category do i fall in , I said the Humanitarian. They took the information & told me that someone will contact me or let me know in 5 days. I hope me calling does not have any adverse effect on my regular processing, in case they do not expedite my case. Has any one got any experience in this. reason for my expedite was that my father has survived a heart attack and i wish to visit him in canada. Which i do as soon as possible...

This morning at 8am May 12th, I checked my inbox , I got 2 messages from CRIS. It was about my I-485 and I-765.

On I-485 mail, it says my card has been ordered for my Appkication for adjustment of status. On my I-765 mail, it says approval notice has been sent for this application. Great news for me!!! But hey, on May 9th the last time I checked my inbox and USCIS site, my current status for I-765 was CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED. And now , May 12th, my status for I-765 is APPROVAL NOTICE SENT?

I said to myself something is not right. Then at 9:30 am , I checked again my status on my I-485 application. On USCIS site, my status has been changed to WELCOME NOTICE IS SENT from CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED. I am now confused! In just a matter of an hour, my status has been changing! I hope they wont changed my applications to APPLICATION IS DENIED

Btw, I don't worry about my AP because yesterday I got a letter from immigrations. It was the approval notice

Anyone who has experienced this same confusing-status-changing of your applications from USCIS.GOV? just want to appease myself that this is just a common occurence and not something to worry about. I know it is good news but just the same

All of my paperwork is now viewable on USCIS, and it became viewable 4/30/09, it has been 12 days and not a single touch..... im trying to keep my mind off of it, but i find myself compusively checking my mail everyday, both real and electronic for something from USCIS. I am watching helplessly as the people around me that sent their paperwork AFTER me, are getting approvals, and notices sent, and welcome letters, and me?.... nothing...

Mine said the same thing.. I got an email for CRIS on May 6 that production ordered for my EAD but yesterday I got another email May 11 production ordered for EAD.. tsk tsk

When I had my biometrics..I showed the guard my state ID..also I brought my passport too..anyway..you can use your passport for ID if you dont have state ID yet.

Did you enter US via K1?If you do..you should have passport.You need an ID for biometrics..they guard will ask you for it.

Ours too. It said card production last May 8th then today I received an email that today, may 12th, our new card was ordered. It's the same thing, right? hehe

I don't have a state ID so I just showed them our passport when we did the biometrics. You should have a passport or else you'd not be able to get in the US unless you lost it.

I saw that my online status was card production ordered for about a week, and then I got an email and update on the website that said Approval Notice was sent. I received the card about 3 days after the Approval Notice was sent. I'm guessing the Approval notice is the paper that's sent with the card.
