Yeah, I'm in Idaho and wishing I could be in Arizona right now! Hahaha. But trust me; it'll get real hot, real FAST. :D

I was in Arizona in the Spring/Summer of 2006, and it was the craziest time I ever had. Especially since my air-conditioner broke down. That was the worst two weeks I've ever felt in a house before. xD

That must be terrible. :(

Since I'm new in AZ and have not experienced summer yet. I'm thinking of turning off the aircon during summer. My husband warned me that our house would be very hot without aircon.

My husband and friends say that summer in AZ would be HOT HOT HOT!

My husband and I are planning right now to escape the summer hot!

Your husband would be right when he says that your house would be very hot without the aircon. It's really, REALLY true. I almost had heatstroke while I was there, too. Then there are the bees, so I couldn't open my window. I felt like I was in an oven every day. Think about turning off your aircon, but don't actually turn it off; you will regret it! :innocent:

Then there are the nights. I had always been told that summer nights in the desert are usually cool, but I can tell you this, THEY ARE NOT! They are also bloody hot, and I was sorely tempted to sleep naked. But I didn't, something instilled in me living in Singapore (it's illegal to run around naked in your own house, imagine that).

Where are you guys going to escape the summer heat? I hear Alaska is pretty nice.

Yes, alaska is beautiful. I have a friend here in AZ who flew to alaska last summer. They rented one of the cabin by the cabin. I saw their photos, the place is awesome.
