Just an update:

I just checked my case status online and my case was transferred to CSC on April 17..Wohoo!!! so happy!

Is that mean no more interview and they will just send my GC on mail???

Hey that's great... :) I could not verify my case online yet. :(

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHOS GETTING APPROVED AND TRANSERRED!!!! Unfortunately i am still in the boat of people who are waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting for a transfer letter or SOMETHING because it has been 10 days since alfred's biometrics, and some people that have had their biometrics the same day as he did have already gotten a transfer or appt. letter. SO FUSTERATING!!! :blink:

I just checked the USCIS web site and for my surprise the EAD was updated on the web site! My card was ordered to production today! yay!!

This wait is more frustrating then the K-1. everyone is getting transferred, I want to hear something or at least be able to see our case on USCIS. But nothing.. 11 days since Bio.

Congrats to all the transfers, that's great news!! and I hope everyone gets quick approvals!!

Pretty much. I haven't seen yet a B2 or other visa get transferred to California.

If you are a K1 you wont have interview in most of the cases.

Maybe Im wrong but this is my feeling :)

Yah i have seen recently that MOST of the k-1 visas get transferred, which is good and convenient for most of us, because it is easier, no interview, they send you everything in the mail. THey do do the occassional interview i guess eeny meeny miney mo thing cause if you think about it , k-1 visa holders already did the interview OUTSIDE of the country, if they wernt good enough to enter, they wouldnt have been approved. This is the final stage, ..... THANK GOD!!!!

if documents would not arrive to chicago how checks could be cashed? and what u mean by confirmation number? they had everything in envelop and my adress on each form as well, i dont know whats going on... :crying:

When my K1 checked was cashed our receipt # was printed on the electronic check, I didnt check it for our AOS since we received NOA1 before they cashed it but u can check and see if their is a receipt # on it..

~9/8/08 - I-129F sent VSC

~9/17/08 - NOA1 received[/color]

~9/22/08 - I29F approved

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

~10-15-08 - Packet 3 dropped off at embassy

It seems like ppl who have inerviews ends up getting their GC much quicker than ppl who get transfered I know some who filed since August and got transfer and still waiting.

My AOS package was sent last march 25, 2009 and i will have my biometrics this 22nd of April in Philadelphia. I hope it wont take for my green card to be approved....

It seems like ppl who have inerviews ends up getting their GC much quicker than ppl who get transfered I know some who filed since August and got transfer and still waiting.

It's also case to case basis cos I knew a lot who got theirs transferred to CSC but got their GC in as short as 3 months while some who had interview but waited for almost a year before they got their GC. So, transfer or interview won't be the base whether you'll be getting GC faster.
