05/05/2009: Received initial interview letter for 06/11/09 (issused 04/30/09)

05/16/2009: EAD card production ordered

05/16/2009: AP sent

Hi guys,

I just checked my account info on the USCIS website for the first time, and I discovered that my case has been transfered to CSC on April 13th. Yay!

Good luck to everyone who's still waiting for news of their case: it's utterly frustrating, but again, not as painful as the K1 visa wait. Enjoy your special time with your loved ones everyone!

Quick Question

VSC and CSC ????? i live in california so wouldn't my case automatically go to CSC??? i did file it at the Chicago PO.. do they transfer it to local field office or does it go to Service centers ??? I AM CONFUSED

I called today to find out about this and they said they dont have any such information, i said how do i know......the answer was look at the processing times and that could help, i told her, i looked and that doesn't tell me how this works.. they just dint have any information to give :(, but i did come to know that they recieved my RFE documents and stuff.

Timeline:

K1 - Fiance Visa

05/15/08: Filed for K1

12/01/08: Interview Scheduled for 9:00 AM at US consulate Chennai

12/01/08: Approved at 11:30 AM

12/04/08: Got the passport with the VISA stamped :D

12/09/08: Got on the airlines and arrived at LAX at 6:15 PM POE took 4 mins

01/27/09: The big day - WEDDING

01/28/09: Applied for SSN

02/12/09: Got SSN in the mail

02/17/09: Got Marriage Certificate

AOS

02/28/09: Filed AP, AOS and EAD

03/13/09: NOA received (AP, AOS and EAD)

03/13/09: Biometrics appointment received

03/18/09: RFE mailed

03/25/09: Biometrics schedule - Done [dint take more than 10 mins including the wait time]

03/27/09: Sent out required info with regard to RFE via Priority mail to Missouri

Well, I can't really help you on that one; all I can say is that I filed in Vermont for the K1, sent the AOS stuff to Chicago, and just received notice that it has been transfered to California. I have no idea why, though...

Hi guys,

I am a USC and filed AOS for my wife on March 15. NOA dated March 19, Biometrics appointment April 7, and after a trip out of town came home to find a letter from USCIS dated April 7 saying that our case was transferred to CSC.

So for those still waiting, please try to be patient. Your case is working through the system, albeit slowly. And I understand your frustration with trying to get an update, either by phone or online. I've learned that the only true updates come in the mail.

How were you able to do your Biometrics walk-in rather than go when the appointment was?

Just go early when it opens, and bring the proper form of identification and appointment letter and they will let you in. Everyone has been doing it and thus far no one has gotten turned away.

My biometrics was done last wednesday, April 15th in Norridge, Illinois. There were about 8 people there before me, but it still only took about 15 minutes. I thought that the people working there had a bit of an attitude, but I wasn't there long enough to get mad.

IMPORTANT: I was told by the lady who took my prints that I will receive my EAD in May. Although that is obviously not an official notice, it made me happy. Let's see if it's true...

I added myself to the spreadsheet.

Timeline estimated adjudication on March 4, 2008. It was adjudicated on April 23.

Our I-130 was approved in 258 days.

Timeline estimated adjudication on April 4, 2008. It was adjudicated on April 23.

Hi All,

I got notification of transfer of my case to CSC. Yeeaahhhh !!! Does that mean that I will not get an Interview, instead recieve my GC? Does any one have any idea about that? If that could be possible GR8888888.
