Oh! That sucks! it's just so annoying that we can't see our case status online and how our case is moving and everything like that. Hmp! I guess we'll just have to wait for whatever letter we'd receive in the mail.

AndyJona, when i was going to bed last night, i thought of something that i know i would like to see on the speadsheet. I think it would be helpful to both those who are looking for an appropriate and curret average as well as future filers who want to look back at the track record. What about having an average (that updates as people enter their information as they get it) between the average number of days between when their biometrics was done and when the case was transferred to CSC or when they got an appt. I know that would require to put in the date in the spreadsheet, but i think it would be helpful for those who are nervous and want to see what the average is amongst other march filers. I think it would deff. be helpful for future members too. Just a suggestion.

Did you mean the number of days from the Biometrics was done to the case transferred or the Interview date?

yes, the average number of days so those who are still waiting know what to expect, and those in the future will be able to see what happened to all of us in march, and what our wait looked like.

Ok, I already added a column for # (number) of days before transfer/interview date. Due to this change, I'd like to request everyone to put the date when their case was transferred to CSC/VSC instead of just Yes or No.

Thanks!

thanks so much andyjona, im so anxious to see the progress in numbers. Thanks again for including my suggestion.

I think it makes sense to do that cos just like me, it's killing me to know that someone who filed on the same date as me had their case transferred to CSC but I didn't hear anything about mine yet. Just crossing my fingers here.

CHANGES: As per my post earlier, we have added a column for the number of days between the biometrics done and the transfer/interview date. I changed it to : __ (# of) days before/after transfer/interview and just follow the format given (ie Juliana & Sergio's line).

For any questions and further suggestions, pls dont hesitate to message me. Thanks!

It's not really clear what to enter into that before/after transfer/interview field, there are 4 possibilities... I think the field should have a clear specific meaning. I'd go with days until interview from original filing date... if it's for historical purposes, people can see which ones are transfer to CSC and see how long those took, really the office that it's processed at is probably the most important thing for determining the timeline, everyone processed in CSC is likely to have a similar wait, where people who are processed at a local office are likely to have a shorter wait, but just how short, depends on the actual office.

So after being all anxious and waiting I had a pleasant surprise yesterday. Seeing that people have been getting notices, I expected something to come soon. An RFE, transfer... ANYTHING! So I open my mail box and see the ever familiar USCIS envelope and green-tinged paper in the window. Honestly, I expected an RFE because I only sent in my 2007 tax return. To my awesome surprise.. IT WAS AN INTERVIEW LETTER! :P Well it says, "initial interview" I hope it's the only interview.

Interview date: Friday, May 29 @ 11:15

On a side note: We still aren't able to check our case status online, haven't received any word about our EAD/AP, and no notice of transfer.

Big sigh of relief. For now. :) :)
