We're a bit new to this AOS thing. How do you know that your case has been transferred to CSC? I gather they just send you a letter stating such since most people can't see their account online? And do all letters go to CSC or do some go to other service centers? Thanks in advance!

They just send you a notice in the mail that looks identical to an NOA (which is technically what it is).

Also, I just tried to add our AOS case to Case Status Online, and it worked. So that's nearly three weeks after our NOA1.

I've checked my case status on USCIS also and its active only for AOS. I havent been able to track EAD or AP.

Biometrics completed April 10th. We were in at 10 (1 hr early) and out at 10:15, nice and sweet. Now we are just waiting and hoping for the best.

Update:

received my Biometrics Appointment Letter today for April 24...yahoo!!!

I was nervous when I opened it bcoz I thought it's an RFE bcoz we only submitted 2008 tax return which is married filing jointly..we didnt submitted 3 years for tax coz I thought 2008 tax return will be enough.I hope USCIS will satisfy with the 2008 tax return we submitted.

For those who did the biometrics earlier, do you need to apply for anything or you just show up there?? Thanks!!

I want to do my biometrics earlier, because I couldn't make it the date they assigned. I don't want them to reject me after two-hours driving.

You don't have to do anything special. I just went to the assigned ASC with my passport, APPOINTMENT LETTER, Marriage Cert. (Although, I brought my NOA's as well but it wasnt needed). I got it done in less than 10 mins. My assigned appointment is April 18th but my hubby and I went last thursday, April 9th - about a week earlier. Try it.. you should be fine!

You wont have any problems. My appointment is April 16th and I went on the 1st They dont really stress out about it, they just want to get the work done.
