I edited my portion in the spreadsheet, it's wonderful! THANK YOU!

A little bit of bad news though.

I received a RIE. Not an RFE which is a Request for FURTHER Evidence, but a Request for INITIAL Evidence. Apparently my husband does not make enough per year to be able to support me, according to the Dept. of Homeland Security. Looks like we might have to get his mother or father to be our co-sponsor.

Either way, our Biometrics Appointment is tomorrow afternoon. Maybe that will improve my mood.

Hi guys,

So, I'm looking for other people who have done their biometrics early; I can't make it on the date they assign me, but I don't want to re-send the document to get another appointment as it's just going to slow the process. A few of you got it done before your scheduled date, so what has been your experience?

And do some of you know if it's okay to do that at the Philadelphia office by any chance?

We have to rent a car to get there, so I don't really want to blow it :)

Thanks for your help and let me add that, like the rest of the March filers, I think the spreadsheet is really cool!

Sophie

Et alors je viendrai à vous, telle une goutte illimitée vers un océan sans bornes.

I just did my biometrics this afternoon! I was totally spacing and wrote my husband's name instead of mine, but I was forgive for that, hehehe. The guy was pretty nice. He also had a timer running and I was in and out in about 10 minutes, 6 minutes of which was the entire fingerprinting and photo-taking process.

Sophie, I believe you can go early and it shouldn't be much of a problem; some of the people here have done it and it proved successful.

Brad Charel, I'm not sure what you need to know, PM me so we don't clutter up the thread :D

I just went for Biometrics Wednesday. My scheduled date was 04/07/09. We just showed up at the office the guard did not ask what our scheduled day was only time. We got inside the building, got in line and had the biometrics done. The entire process took only 15 mins. You can go early, you likely will not have a problem.

Like you I had some research for this, so I guess their would be any problem.

Goodluck :)

We did ours early, we were going to have alot of hassle trying to make the date they gave us. We just showed up, the guard did look at our appt time and noticed we were early so he went and asked 1 of the uscis employees if it was ok, and they said yes.
