Quick questions guys...

We got our NOA already (last Sat) and it was dated March 26th but our check hasnt been cash yet.. is this normal? I know it seems a bit odd..maybe just a delay on their part? I checked on our online banking and I didnt see anything on hold.

hello everyone...

my AOS application was received on March 8.

the NOA notice was sent on March 13, and I received the letters on March 19.

until now, I am still waiting for my Biometrics appointment :'( I am worried that the letter might come in late and i might miss the schedule... any advice? are there anyone who are also waiting for the biometrics schedule?

most of the people i know here have been scheduled to have it this week ... mine isn't here yet :(

Im still waiting on mine too, our NOAs are dated the 18th, so i am hoping we get it soon. Although, i am a little scared to be driving to my local office in philly, i HATE driving there when i dont know specifically where i am going and how the HECK to get back out, but its not like i have another option. Put if map quest gets me lost again, im going to be SOOOO mad!!!!!!!!!!!

Jan 13, 2008----Arrive in Atlanta POE

January 15, 2009--Apply for SSN Number

Jan. 23, 2009---Married

March 2 2008----Received SSN card

March 14, 2009---Got Driver's License

AOS TIMELINE

Mar. 30, 2009: AOS/EAD/AP filled

April 7, 2009 - EAD,AP and AOS NOA notice date

April 10, 2009 - received NOA1 hardcopy for EAD,AP and AOS

April 13, 2009- received Biometrics appt scheduled April 25, 2009

April 14, 2009-Biometrics walk-in done!

April 14, 2009-Called USCIS for AP to be expedited.

April 16, 2009-AP approved YES!!

April 24, 2009-EAD Card Received!!

The same thing happen to us, I think because they posted the check on Friday so it didnt show up in our account until the Monday or Tuesday.

~9/8/08 - I-129F sent VSC

~9/17/08 - NOA1 received[/color]

~9/22/08 - I29F approved

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

~10-15-08 - Packet 3 dropped off at embassy

~11-21-08 - Interview!

~11-21-2008- VISA APPROVED!!!

~12-9-08 - arrived-POE JFK

married on ~2-27-09-

But yeah, the same thing happen to us, we received our NOA1's before the check was cashed, I was so worried that I wrote the wrote thing on the check.. but it was cashed two days later.

Nice spreadsheet! I went in and edited my info. We had a 23-Mar NOA and a 15-Apr Biometrics but I wasn't sure how to save it.

Received the biometrics appointment a few days ago... ugh, we have to travel for about 4 hours one way to get to the local office for biometrics... it's finger printing and a photo, all things that could have been done in the embassy or even possibly at the PoE so much easier (I'm assuming the biometrics in the US is to insure that the person matches the person who went to the embassy for the itnerview or something... as they took fingerprints then too).

We can all edit the spreadsheet if we found some mistakes or if you have new updates.

On the bottom of the page, there's an EDIT option that you can click on.

Then, after you edit it, click on SHARE tab on the upper right-hand corner and click on PUBLISH AS WEBPAGE, then click on RE-PUBLISH.
