Help! Error in my GC and need to travel! :(

Hi,

After months and months of waiting AOS, i finally read in the Uscis page that my status was approved. I was so happy and excited... so I bought tickets to my country...

When the GC arrived, I open the envelope and there was a mistake in my second name, the last letter I went to Infopass in Manhattan and the lady said that I can only get the Stamp 551 in my passport after I sent the original GC to be replace... I told her that I need to go to my country and she said that I can go with this gc because the mistake was on my second name, and it wasnt a big deal... But Im a little afraid that on the way back I have some problems,

How hard can it be to get the stamp on my passport?

Please if somebody has a similar situation... Or some orientation...

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
