NVC

I just called the NVC, I sent back paperwork last week, the choice of agent and the I-864, the operator told me yes both had been received and I would hear back in 4 weeks, she said they are checking the paperwork and if anything is missing they will let me know.

What does this mean? that it hasn't been scanned? did I call too soon? theres a problem?

Any clues?

I believe what she said means that NVC already got your papers BUT they are not done yet reviewing your package for completeness. They usually say wait for 4-6 weeks but it usually takes them just few days to review your papers unless they find something is missing or they ask for more evidence/documents.

They may be reviewing it and in the process of scanning it into the computer. It only takes a few days 5-6. Just keep calling every other day or so and listen to the avr to see if it has been accepted or there is any rfe.

You should be fine. I sent a package that was delivered on Friday, they haven't updated the AVR yet, will call the NVC to get a status later. They usually take a few days to review and then reply back if they require additional information.

So what you are saying is keep checking till they bill me the IVR? that still shows not invoiced.

So to sum up, I have sent in the DS2032 and the tax return package I864 what will come next?

I don't ever remember doing this to get mine done!

What does AVR mean?

The IV fee will be invoiced as soon as the DS3032 is accepted.

AVR = Automated Voice Response It is the automated voice mail system at NVC.

My paper had arrive 14 th February to NVC and they are still reviewing, today they told me to wait 1-7 days more!
