In very small print on the N-400 website, says to follow all the instructions in the M-476 manual, I did sent more evidence after I sent in the original application. Also says in that paper reduction act, should take a couple of hours to prepare that form, definitely need a much faster copying machine and need to refresh my speed reading skills, takes me more than an hour to read a 68 page manual, even longer if I am trying to make heads or tails of what they are saying.

When buying any product that requires servicing with a parts lists, and adjustment procedures, use to be able to buy a manual was was dedicated to that particular product. But today, have to buy a manual that may cover over a hundred different products, so spend hours trying to find just the information for your particular product. Well the M-476 manual is the same way, covers just about every different situation, so you have to read it very carefully and pick out only the sections that apply to your situation. That took time.

Using Adobe Arcobat, have to download that manual, not available anywhere that I can find, I copied and pasted just the text that applied to us into a word document, so I was sure we complied with what just what applied to us. That took more than a couple of hours.

hi NickD so you mean i need to send now those missing document that I missed? or I have to wait for my RFE letter?

I would send those in ASAP to the same address you sent your N-400 to, with a letter of apology and a "please" to attach those documents to your original application.

Actually what I did was to send more evidence as over a year went by with no word about our I-751, did that to inform them that we were still alive and waiting, I think that worked. I did screw up with the N-400, so accustomed to just listing our one single immigrant step daughter as all of our children, when they wanted all the natural and step children children listed in the N-400, so sent a corrected copy of that listing eight instead of one. They did receive that and corrected our form, that also could have expedited our case. Sent in tons of evidence with our N-400.

You may be okay if you just bring in both the originals and copies of tons of evidence into your interview, but if you don't and get an RFE, your case may be delayed forever. I would do both, send it in, and also bring all that stuff with you. Wasn't going to bring in our original evidence, because they never wanted to see it, but this time they did.

I am respectfully going to disagree with Nick here. Without a RFE, I don't think you have any chance whatsover that any additional documents you send separately will end up with your file. I think they will just go into the huge black pit at the USCIS office. In your situation, I would prepare the documents & wait for a RFE, it this doesn't happen and you do get an interview appointment, take them with you them.

Honey/Sweetie - the additional information is only required if you are applying on the "three year rule". If you are applying after 5 years of Permanent residency, what you sent is all that is required.

Since you received a NOA1, I am assuming you did send a cheque........
