I called my girl friend on her cell phone a strange woman picked up the phone she says hello a bunch of time she could not hear me. we said hello for three minutes, then hung up then i called again within five minutes this time a guy picks up. i was extremely worried now thinking she may have been kidnapped (i had just seen the movie Taken which should the story of sex trafficking). We said hello a bunch of times for another 3 minutes. I wait ten minutes called again this time the call drops with 18 second then i call right back within that minute my girl pick up the phone. She was at the airport and it sounded like all the people was at the airport also. Now i don't think my girl would lie to me, but i am feeling strange she said no one had her phone the whole time. I am wondering if it is possible the line crossed. I am using skype to call her, i am in New york she is in the philippines manila.

Might be cross the line. There's a flaw in the wireless network here. It happened to me several times when my fiance called me and it kept dropping then when picked up, he heard something different. I told him there's no miss calls register in my mobile phone, and never pick up. When I went to the service center of my service provider, they couldn't give good answer.

There is problems with the lines there, maybe is the snow. I had problem to talk to my SO last night. I couldn't hear anything. Called twice, same issue. Don't worry it was just the line.

Crossed the line might possible ghomnet. happened to us in our house like 5 times lol. called my husband in his phone when he was in his office but woman answered. then i also called my mother in philippines then heard chinese woman twice when she picked up the phone. Dont think bad LOL.

Dont worry, i call Nigeria alot and sometimes the call is picked up in india of all places, the problem is that when you use call cards or skype or voip or any of the other calling softwares that use voice over ip for routing calls there is no telling where your call would end up. This isnt a regular feature but it does happen.

has happened to me at least ten times when calling Dylan...but I call a lot. Have had people pick up in other asian countries....usually in the philippines though but speaking with a different accent etc. Call does not show up on Dylan's phone and it appears MOST of the time..the people who do pick up can't hear me...or can't hear me well. Also I know its not her lying or running games etc...cuz when Im in the philippines..when my mom has called my cell phone there. ( I have a cell phone from the philippines I was using there..that is mine ) same thing happens. Sometimes she has called it ten times before getting through! Don't worry..

Hahaha its funny it happens to my husband too, he tought there's somebody using my phone his making fun of me maybe i have a new BF what the heck...because he called one time and the person who kept answering the phone was a man and i'm alone at that time hahahaha its weird hhhhhmmmm!!! but it happen sometimes...

hahaha.. had the same thing happened to me.. some old lady picked it up and kept saying 'hello, I can't hear you', n she kept saying that for 2/mins.. toinks!!

Called back and got thru to my SO phone.. I get drop calls, crossed lines..etc.. you name it.. I have a Globe phone I use here so she can text that, and it's been happening alot lately, but she would text me and then all of a sudden I get 10 text in a row , hell, I know she can't type that fast..and the time stamps are 2/hrs from when I get them.. then I call her and she's upset that I never replied to her text.. I tell her I just got them all and she just says my phone sucks, but I have to remind her that it's on the Globe network from Phils.. so Globe sux..

We went 2/weeks with gettn delayed text before, during the storms and they were replacing some towers.. so yeah.. Phils wireless network is not too reliable..

My advice - you should work on either getting to know each other better or learn to be more trusting. I understand the distance can play a number on you, but if your gut immediately starts thinking that she might be lying over something like this, what will happen in another situation? At what point in the relationship do you think you'll begin to trust her word?

My husband uses Skype as well to call me here in the Phil. There was one incident that we had an argument because he was trying to call me and one of those calls he made for me was answered by a name "Michael". I don't know if my husband was just tricking me, but I don't think he was if we were in the middle of an argument.

As to this matter, I'm not quite sure if lines can be crossed or cannot.
