I had my Interview yesterday and it was a relief being done with it because it means that im now going to be with my fiance and to SPEND LIFE with him for the rest of our lives.

I am so thanlful on this site esp those who helped and gave me the information I needed. Thanks to Trisha and Liza whom I met on my medical til interview.

The process:

1. Arrived at the embassy at 6:00 A.M. but they're still not accepting K1 applicants. At 7:00

Called our group and fall in line.

2. Presented one valid ID and appointment letter.

3. Proceed to Gate 2 then went inside. The guard will tell you where and what will do. You will be called later and will submit forms DS-156, 156k, AND 157 and you will be given your ticket number then went back seated.

4. Finger scanning at window 16...my name was called around 8:30 am, i had twice finger scanning and i was so nervous then bcoz i was thinking that it might affect my visa. After finger scanning, back to set again and wait for your number to be flasged on screen.

5. My number was 7021 and i read my Number flashed on the board with the corresponding window where you need to go for pre-screening. I was assigned to window 21 and the pre screener is so nice but serious woman. She asked me in tagalog...thanks God hehe.

It took maybe 5 mins for me to answer all her questions including the time she reveiwed my papers...(dont worry, its normal to get nervous and tense, but one thing to bear in mind is, dont colapse hehe...just follow what she doing and always say yes mam..she always jotted down whatever your responces were.(She never asked my emails, chatlogs, remittances, receipts, this maybe one good thing to pay visa processing one month prior on your interview date.)

7 I sit again and waited for my number to be flashed on the scree with now the final interview with the consular officer wheeeh.

8. Went inside the room and sit down.

I also prayed God to bless my CO, that he asked only easy questions and he approve me. I prayed a lot :) and it happened, he approved me so quickly. Others said, CO wont tell you about being approved...I heard it twice he says, "your visa is approved" I wish you both best of LUCK.
