What to do? RFE for not making enough money in 2008

Got the RFE today, it's about me not making enough money in 2008. because my 2007 w2 was 14, 000 (i need 22,000)

last year i made 25,000 according to my new w2...the letter saysa to get a cosponsor.,..no one wants to help me. do i write a letter explaining that i am making enough money now?> and send the new w2?

i cant get through on the phone

Either you get a co-sponsor or you wait until you fulfill the income requirement

I would be inclined to do a new I-864 - include all your recent supporting documents (such as letter from your employer if they'll do one, pay stubs, IRS tax return and its supporting documents) along with a letter of explanation (explaining new I-864 and your reason for updating it). Simply sending in the 2008 w-2 would not likely be enough.

That's what I'd do - it would be nice to read exactly what the RFE's wording was though.

Thanks, I'll have to do a new I-864 then. It's the only choice I have. None of my family members make enough money & friends are afraid to get involved with something financial related.

I would of wrote what the letter said, if I hadn't gotten it only 5 minutes before work...had to rush to work & was too scatter brained to even bring the letter. I'll copy the letter when I get home. I read it 3 times & it pretty much said "joint sponsor" this & that. I was hoping they would just request a new W2.

Filed my taxes 2 weeks ago, thank god. Gonna type out new i864 & updated paystubs, copy my 1040...send it out tomorrow morning...Dont think I can get another employer letter this time though...she wrote me one in November, everythings the same...but she seemed a bit annoyed when I requested these letters (she did it 3 different times) & I had to assure her that I wouldn't bother her again..she made me wait a while last time too. :s
