Howdy folks,

getting ready to file an n400 for my wife and I had a question regarding the tax return requirement. The check list mentions a certified tax return.

Does that mean my regular copies wont work and I need to either have the certified returns ordered by for 4506?

Do you guys think I can just send my tax return copies with the 4506-t transcripts attached ????

Appreciate any feedback

here is what it says:

4. Documents referring to you and your spouse:

• Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages, or birth certificates of children, or

• Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-certified copies of the income tax forms that you both filed for the past three years, or

• An IRS tax return transcript for the last three years.

You need to supply one of the items bulleted... not all three... (see the "or" statement?)

Exactly, and they do not need to be certified, or notarized, simple photo copies are fine.
