Isselmek. Thanks for the support oldahmed!! I'm a little anxious but hope it'll all be done soon. The oath taking is not easy to predict though, some have their ceremonies 2 weeks and others a full 5 weeks later. It looks like NYC is doing better than a couple of years ago. We'll see. Crossing my fingers and sending all my good luck wishes to the other interviewees of the week. :star:

Congrats.. Couple of my friends passed their interview yesterday in Raleigh/Durham and have Oath coming on this Friday.

I have my interview on 7/29 and hoping the Oath follows soon

I just took my OATH!!! So excited. It was a great experience! I am now a USC!!! I will apply for my passport soon, change my SS card and etuff soon. Doc asked me to rest for a few days after my surgery yesterday, so I will do it all when I feel a bit better!

Hi all, Mary had her interview yesterday in OKC. It lasted about 15 minutes and went very well.

She was asked to read: Which State has the most people? And write: California has the most people.

The History/Civics questions were:

1. There are 4 amendments to the Constitution about who can vote. Describe one.

2. Who is in charge of the Executive Branch?

3. What is one right or freedom in the first amendment?

4. If the President can no longer serve who becomes President?

5. What is one reason colonists came to America?

6. During the cold war what was the main concern of the United States?

Then he reviewed her application, asked her the yes /no questions and said congratulations you passed, gave her the approval notice and said they would mail her the oath notice soon.

Thanks for everyone's help and encouragement. Good luck to the Marchers still waiting.
