I went to my interview this morning, and from the moment we got there to the moment we left was less than one hour.

The parts of asking me 6 civil questions, reading and writing were fine until the interviewer started to confirm the answers on the Form-400.

He changed my nationality from Taiwan which was the one I put on the Form-400 into China. I didn’t agree with that change because that

was not true. After a little discusses with that interviewer, he agreed to change back to the way I put it down on the form. Besides this little

story, others went well.

After the interview, I waited for another about 10 minutes for my oath appointment letter.

My oath date is on Saturday, July 4th.

After I left there, I found out that I didn’t see or sign on any paper called N-652, Naturalization Interview Results.

Is it normal? Shoud I worry about that?

hey everyone,

I owe the state some taxes and called the IRS according to the interview checklist ( it says that if you owe any taxes bring a documentation of the current status of a repayment program ) so, the IRS told me that they dont have or give any document like that. they also said I can make payments little by little...

and on the tax forms there is a web site name called www.officialpayments.com/state if i make payments from there and print the confirmation page would that be fine with IO...?

and did you guys have any problem because of the taxes...?

have you guys been asked to show the tax forms especially in Atlanta GA...?

other than that Atlanta does the oath on the same day...if everything goes smooth i will hopefully be a citizens on july 1st...

N-652 is a form that indicates your interview result.

If you pass the test, it will be with an announcement that your application is recommended for approval.

I did sign on my passport photos and my final part of N-400, but I didn't see any paper said I was recommended for approval.

After the interview, I was asked to wait for my oath letter at the rest area. That was it.

I am not sure will it affect anything if I only have an oath letter but don't have N-652.

As the reading and writing questions, they are" Who lives in the White House?" and "The President lives in the White House,"

6 questions are,

*Where is the Statue of Liberty?

*Who is the governor of your state?

*Name two national holidays.

*What movement tried to end racial discrimination?

*Who was the first President?

*What is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen?

:dancing::thumbs::dance: Yay! I passed the interview today with flying colors!

My interview was in Indianapolis, and the officer was an older gentleman. He asked me 6 civics questions, including Where is the Statue of Liberty, who is my Governor, who was the first President, What movement was to end discrimination, What is one promise you make when you become a citizen and 2 American Holidays.

He had me write 2 sentences, The president lives in the white house, and one about American Indians being the first to live in the US.

He then asked me the Yes No questions in not the same order as they are stated in the application- Probably to see how well I understand English-

He only wanted to see my greencard, passport and driver's license. Then he told me I would receive a letter for my oath :)

In all it only took 20-30 minutes.

Sometimes, he even used his own words to descry those questions, got to be very careful or would be trick.
