@queendlee, I'm sure the March filers will be moving fast too. Overall, I think the process is going quite smoothly. Half of us have already gotten the IL, let's wish for more ILs this week :star:

It depands on the IO to whom you are having interview and the location you are going for the interview. Some will let you take the oath on the same day if your interview goes well some won't. Lately I am seeing atleast 85% folks waiting for their oath letter after the interview. Many places they will not be able to take the decision right away so they will ask you to wait for their decision.

But there is an exception if you are pregnant and having due date very close to your interview date. They will let you take the oath on the same day of your interview.

Some one can correct me if this information is not quite right.

Thanks.

i have not either and i am just right behind you, but i don't know if it's panic time yet. They do have a window of them they have to make you their minds/give you an interview etc. but you cal also call and ask about it, some people do, sometimes that seems to send an inquiry on your application and something gets done

If your case is approved after your interview on 7/22 (hope your case has no complications) and it is not too late for them to prepare your stuff for the next oath on that day they would allow you to take oath same day at Newark....they do have multiple oaths a day so you should be good for same day oath...

Sorry to rain on the parade, but I don't think it makes much sense sorting the lists by which Lockbox you sent to. The fingerprint, interview, and oath schedules are all dependent on how caught up or behind your local ASC and DO are.

Instead of having lists by month of filing, I think the status ists should sort filings by local District Office. I think the information would be more informative as I'd have a better idea of when my wife's interview might be as I could look at timelines of others who applied in the Denver area.

i agree, other sites do that, but i think this list also helps esp for people like me where i don't see too many people at my local office on the various lists. I think this is just a rough estimate of how things are going, but having other lists may help really only if uscis had a logical order even at the DO and there are enough people at each DO to make a good list.

But people should make sure that these lists are only estimates... nothing including order is set in stone w/ uscis.... look at the fact that some people bypass the fingerprints and get straight to interviews while other have to do them (and it cant be a 15 month rule like some say, we all pay for them and some have taken them multiple times in less than a yr)... so i only use this lists to see progress, get/give opinions and encourage others,

Also agree with the local district sort, but the problem with that is, even in big cities with lots of people applying for the N-400 like me (Miami) I can't even find ONE person online in the same local district office... It would be such a massive list..... To me, counterproductive. What I have done is found all the Miami, FL people in the last 5-6 months and PM'ed them all asking them which office they are at, to gather more data...... unfortunately, none of them are at the same office as I am...... Even in a huge city full of N-400 immigrant applicants...
