i have a question - whats the procedure for getting US passport after taking oath? how long does it take to get passport? if i want to travel to home country in meantime, can i do it?

You have to go to any passport issuing agency, most common is post office and apply for the passport. I suppose after oath you have to get a passport in order to travel since at the oath ceremony they take away your green card for the certificate of naturalization. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get a passport if you order it thorough expedite service. For more info visit

My wife had her bio today. she has problem memorizing 100 questions. any idea, how she can do this.i have printed those 100 questions from USCIS web site. does any one bought DVD. Is this any help. Thanks for your feed back.

They should have given her a study guide at her biometrics appointment. It has explanations of the context of the questions and answers.

The point is not simply to memorize the questions. It's to actually learn the material. That's why the revised the test.

I bought the flashcards as well and really like them. I have divided them into questions I already know the answers to and ones I don't know or am unsure about. So, I can keep going through the 'don't knows' until I am familiar with them. They are easy to use and my order arrived in a few weeks. I recommend them, too.
