Congrats to seakayaker, good for you that you received your interview letter! I just spokewith the USCIS main line about rescheduling my biometrics this Saturday. They told me to try to go just go in this Wednesday and see if they can't take them that day. I also asked about the letter and the lady on the phone told me to just bring the copy which should be fine. Man, I am glad I made a copy, but I figured I neede some sort of proff I received it! Will let you know on Wednesday if they let me take the fingerprints! Hopefully y then we will have some more people who have received their interview letters!

then let me ask u this - will the oath ceremony be the same day as the interview date for me?

Some offices have same day oaths, most don't. And even if the office does conduct same day oaths, sometimes your oath may still be delayed.

Hello,

Instead of waiting for a new appointment I went into the office today with the copy of my letter for the fingerprints. I got so lucky, I found a parking spot right in front of the office, went in, showed my ID. The lady at the reception was very pleasant, she got out a stack of letters which were requests to reschedule appointments. Mine happened to be right on the top, she said they would fingerprint me today. She gave me a paper to fill out and a number. I filled out the paper, waited for maybe 2 minutes and my number was called, the fingerprints were taken. They then gave me the free booklet which I had already printed, but oh well. Then I was done and on my way out. All in all it took 30 minutes without an appointment!

Hooray! Could someone update my fingerprint date with todays date (04/22/09), I have a tendency to screw up the formatiing somehow!

I am now ready for my babyshower this weekend! Have a good one and I am hoping to see more interview letters coming in for the earlier Marchers!

Then I was done and on my way out. All in all it took 30 minutes without an appointment!

Hooray! Could someone update my fingerprint date with todays date (04/22/09), I have a tendency to screw up the formatiing somehow!

I am now ready for my babyshower this weekend! Have a good one and I am hoping to see more interview letters coming in for the earlier Marchers!
