Of course it is seeing that he inherited a perfectly sound and strong economy with a vibrant housing and credit market and yet, he managed to totally ** it all up in less than 6 weeks. He destroyed all of the economic gains of the Bush presidency in a few short weeks.

Yes, and? Anyone who expected the economy (which contracted a record 6%+ during Bush's last quarter in office) to start growing again in Obama's first quarter in office lives in some bubble. Not once has Obama claimed that he would be able to turn the economy around in weeks. He's said consistently that it'll take time, effort and sacrifice to turn pull the economy out of the mud.

Have you been equally critical of Bush not delivering on his "6 months tops" Iraq strategery?

I was in uniform back then, and I thought his daddy was wrong with Desert Shield in 1990, and poorly advised in 1991, when we engaged Iraq in Desert Storm. The Clinton administration did nothing to clean up the mess left by Bush 41, and by the time Bush 43 took office, the situation was near hopeless. Bush 43 made his share of mistakes, and like his daddy, he was poorly advised at times. That we are even close to ending our presence in Iraq is amazing.

I watched many people getting all excited and jumping on the Obama bandwagon and thought to myself what a bunch of sheep, dont they get it politicians often say what you want to hear and try selling you on it. They dont often deliver on there promises,(promises that are often unreal). I was surprised how many people were believing this "Change" nonsense.
