Crossing with K1 Visa at POE

This is a bit early for our case, but I am curious... When you have the K1 and are going to enter at your POE (mine will very likely be by vehicle across the Windsor, ON/Detroit, MI border) can you bring another person with you, a family member? Is this allowed? Is it a good idea/bad idea, will it affect your entry? My family member would of course have a proper and vaid passport to enter the US.

Thanks for feedback!

I actually came over the Ambassador Bridge with my wife when she got her visa and they stated they were surprised we didn't have more people with us to see her off so it's completely fine, good luck!

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

I'll be likely having my mother come with me as a visitor. If I get my visa and if no one discourages me here, or at the embassy.

I presume it is another Canadian? Yeah. no problem. I live near the Champlain border crossing and it would appear from all the Quebec license plates in the mall parking lot they are letting quite a few cross every day. :) For a Canadian the K-1 really only allows you to adjust status, otherwise you could come for a visit anytime. You already knew that, didn't you? :)
