hi,my russian princessa is worried about how much detail we need to include in question 18 on 129f,we met online last year,and i flew over there to meet her this year,do they want alot of how we feel about each other ,how the relationship developed details,or is just a basic answer sufficient?

Best advice is to keep it simple - stick to the facts (dates, places etc) - they're not interested in the 'love story'.

I'm not quite so sure about that. People have posted getting RFEs for not enough detail.

Here is mine:

I, one luck guy, and the sweetest lady first met on Blank, 2004 in Disney. I was a traveling salesman and she was a siren. Sweetie was visiting her brother in Epcott Center when we first became acquainted. We maintained a relationship over the next two years while I lived in Disney and during the subsequent two years I have been in America.

On Blank, 2007, I returned to Disney to spend time Sweetie until Blank, 2007.

During the month of Blank 2007, Sweetie came to America to try clam chowder. I went to visit her in the Magic Kingdom over the weekend of Blank 7 to 9. Sweetie visited me in Neverland during the weekend of Blank 14 through 16.

I returned to Disney from Blank, 2008 until Blank, 2008 to ask for Sweetie's hand in marriage. She accepted and our intention is to wed once she is able to come to America.

Obviously I replaced details with substitutes. I tried to establish the original meeting, as well as having fulfilled the requirement of having met within the past two years. Some folks talk of presenting a timeline for the interview, would something like this suffice, I wonder?

They don't care about your love story so stick to the facts. you can either fit what you can in the box or add a supplement.

Because we had a 10 year relationship and years of travel/pics, we added a supplement as well but it was merely a one page timeline that we then used as a base for our other information/evidence.

"Returning from a trip to Ukraine, I had an overnight layover in Prague, CZ. I met Alla while waiting in line to buy bus tickets to the city"

That's it. I attached ONE un-date-stamped photo (go to my profile and you will see the exact photo I sent) and copies of y boarding passes and passport stamps. Approved in 58 days, no RFEs. I used the VJ sample fiancee letters verbatim, changed names only.

Anything else is fluff. Add as much as you want.

I did mention the date we met also, sorry, but other than that error, that is all the statement. I just looked at the I-129f file again. "Returning from a trip to Ukraine on September 19, 2007......" (a day that will live in infamy!!!!!!) Hey, we were married here in the states exactly one year later. Who knew?
