how can i update my i797 ?? i need it to renew my drivers license but my form is over 3 years so i cant renew it.

You posted this to the K-3 forum which tends to have to do with filing I-130 and I-129F for a K-3 forum up to time of petition transfer to NVC. K-3 is a NON-Immigrant Spousal visa, used to enter the USA and wait for I-130 Approval, or adjust status.

You are asking about driver's licenses and I-797 which has to do with H-1B work visas.

How are you in the USA?? K-3 visa?

You may want to schedule an info pass appointment and find out what happened to the I-130 if this is for a spouse of a US citizen, it should have been approved a long time ago.

not from a citizen, hes just a resident asking for us. he flunk the citizenship test, so its been a long wait for us

Are you living in the USA? You may have other problems, I-485 can only be filed based on an immediate visa number being issued for the I-130 that is filed along with the I-485.

This sounds like you have LONG overstayed a visitors visa.

You may need to consult an immigrations lawyer about your situation.
