Morning Courtney, your probely right, but since CSC is 2 hours behind me, I thought I would call this afternoon, around 3pm their time. I dont know anymore, I wonder if something is wrong, all the bad thoughts enter the mind in waiting, LOL

Its been on a desk for 7 days now, but the real quetion is, Has it been touched by them?? Another mystery, yes, I will call but late afternoon. Im starting to get inpatient. But one good thing, we are totally ready for NVC have all docs that are needed!!! , so that is a good thing.

Don't think bad thoughts. You of everyone know how long it can take to process a case. I am with you on the impatience but fighting the urge to call myself. They need at least 20 days to get a case from the mail room ;)

I know you log into the uscis every chance you get and you know how reliable touches are, even if your getting them it could be because you called and someone scanned the case when they were told to look and check.

You wont be delayed in NVC inshallah.

I have a question though, I know the K visas K1/K3 they are selecting 1 of every 5 (20%) for additional processing, are they also doing this with the CR1 visas or NO????? thats what I am more worried about than anything.

Funny thing, NO touches on case status line, not for 3 weeks now, strange. I check maybe 3 times a day, Im not kidding.

AP varies from case to case, I think alot of it has to do if the beneficiary has a common name. My husband does not, but yes the thought has crossed my mind also. I guess if we just knew how things would turn out, and know when it would happen, I think we could get thru this much easier, but there is no way of knowing now. This excitmenat and waiting is killing me. LOL

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Good morning,

Does anyone here think that the slow-down in processing this month might be due to the H1-B visa processing? Or is that handled by a different group of people? I've looked for some things online about it and all it says is that there are a really reduced number of apps this year...only 42,000 so far.

Needless to say, 42,000 people seems like an awful lot if they're all in front of me (and everyone else) in line, since they're eligible for expediting if the sponsoring company wants to pay.

Just wondered if anyone had more info about this.

Thanks

*note* I know I have not been waiting long and I'm not expecting to see a NOA2 for a while...but as soon as Feb and March people are done maybe they'll start with April!

Maybe if you call this afternoon and get a really really nice agent you can ask? Umm, not about the family first thing - more about the H1Bs :).

Obviously you wouldn't want to anger anyone (except yourself)!

Dont forget those people over at the Big V they are gettin approvals too two from january one from feb.

Congrats to you..... :)

So how many approvals do you think are out there from the 15-17 ... 2... 4..... 5 ??? That have NO CLUE yet !!!!!!!!!!!

I hope they are using a system and its not just random maybe people who had RFE's are sending in info and they are reviewing that. I D K but I need to know because I do not do well with being unaware.

I noticed that too, all March CR-1 filers are at CSC. Interesting!!!!! I still ant figure out CSC processing system, another mystery of the world. Its to the point when a filer makes a joke about USCIS, they get rained on. Lose your wit in this process, might as well call it quits.

Good morning everyone. Has anyone heard of Conquest? They went bankrupt last Wednesday and thousands of Canadians and Americans were stranded. My co-working being one of them, she had such terrible stories. Apparently, some people are still there. The Mexican officials wants everyone to pay for their trip again. Although, they already did pay the travel agent, who in turn did not pay the Mexican Resort. So advice from here, "It doesn't matter where you go, but if you take a foreign trip, ALWAYS pay that little bit extra for insurance.''

On a cheerier note, good morning everyone. :)

H-1b visa is a visa for a specialty worker. Someone who gets asked to come here to work because we need a specialist or because we are short handed in that kind of worker.

I have a questions for all of those who can see status online when you see your touches are they on the first screen where you just put in your NOA1 number or did you have to login as customer and enter your password ???

I need to see something because i think the marbles are starting to roll away...............

To Courtney,

- To go: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

- On the left side, click Register

or on the bottom click: Create/Edit customer portfolio account

Once that is done, you can login and add a case to your portfolio, and then you can check from there. :)
