MARCH 2009 FILERS SPREADSHEET

I'm going to put it in my signature too... so that everybody can see the LINK all the time.

I was hoping if some of you could do that too... so we can spread the word around.

Anyhoo, some still have lacking details.. if you can supply it... it would be much appreciated.

regards!

PS: Let me know if it is not working on your pc.

hi girl, nice job.. how do i edit my info? I used google docs but i might ruin it.. should i just give you our timeline? Thanks.

haha.. i have absolutely no idea how everybody can edit it... maybe for now you can post here your timeline so i can update it. then i'll tinker more with it while i'm editing yours. see if i can set it where everybody can update their info.

thanks!!

hello friends!!!

just wondering, did you guys send original documents with your I-130 form? Like Original BirthCert, Marriage Cert... etc?

I read it somewhere here. i think in the guide, not to sent originals... but do you guys think not sending originals may cause an RFE before NOA2?

No originals sent, just good clean, crisp copies is what I sent. But you will need originals or certified copies for NVC.

No you wont get a RFE for copies, your okay.

Mariel, now Im Glenda the Good Witch of the North.

:D thank you... I just got into thinking about my papers. and worried myself for a second there.

we're calling USCIS for the missing NOA1 letter and maybe we can ask for an update too. will post again later.

Let us know what they say if they give you a update on what they are processing now.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Nothing to worry!!! She posted in Feb thread that CSC is working 24/7 and they had sent all H1b visa applications to VSC and she said that there is report that she read, so I just wanted to read it and that's what I am asking her!! By the way, I am frequent reader of this thread. Have you gotton your NOA1 yet??? Good luck to you and all others waiting NOA2 in this thread???

It was a small article I read on CSC that working 24 hours a day temporparly. I cant remember what paper I saw it in, we get so many here at the office, from Immigration to clearance procedures. There is just too many to go thru here. Maybe I can find it on line.

oh SH*T!!!! we just called CSC and they told us that they never sent us an NOA1... because of some glitch!!!

they're going to send us a duplicate copy.

Our I-130 is still in the mail room with no officer assigned to it. WTH!??!!

AND we have to wait for another month, because it takes them 2 months to process the case... NORMALLY! ARGH!!!! This is taking too slow.

Wow! Just saw the spreadsheet -- nice!

If we get our NOA2 on May 5th, that'd be great.

One question though... how is that time line being determined and is there any validity to it? I see people who've been waiting for their NOA2 for more than 6 months.

Just curious. I appreciate the effort and will follow it to see how it goes.

Also, as a Canadian, that number for the USCIS is not allowable to me -- is there another number that someone outside the US can use to reach them?

Thanks all... and thanks for including us in the timeline.

Dont get upset, I bet if you called again, you would get a whole different answer. And you only need the NOA 1 if your filing for a K3, but you can still print a copy on line of your NOA 1. And that is all you truly need.

Truly happy!!!

You're welcome, it's fun to include everybody in the spreadsheet... if I fail to include anyone, please just input your own timeline.

I copied the I-130 approx approval time from your VJ timeline. I think this is based on the data gathered from previous trend.

If you notice, we have one March Filer who is in VSC, her VJ timeline says she's going to get an approval or update around Novermber 2009.

Generally, it depends on the trend of the service center. Since CSC moves faster lately, they are predicting a much faster update or approval for those who have their petitions in this center.

I'm sorry, I only have the USCIS America number.

For the rest of the people, you can call USCIS (after 1 month of waiting) for an update.

1. DIAL STILL 1-800-375 – 5283

2. PRESS 1-2-1 ENTER YOUR RECEIPT NUMBER.

3. AS SOON AS THE YOU HEAR THE STATUS OF YOUR CASE, PRESS 1-3-4. THERE'S NO OPTION FOR THIS, JUST DO IT AND YOUR CALL WILL THEN BE DIRECTED TO THE SERVICE CENTER IN LINE WITH THE RECEIPT NUMBER YOU ENTERED.

4. IT WILL BE A WAIT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES, BUT ONCE THEY ANSWER, IT WILL BE STRAIGHT THEM ASKING YOU ABOUT YOUR RECEIPT NUMBER.

5. THEY ARE VERY POLITE, AND THEY WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOUR CASE. IF IT READY TO BE ASSIGNED TO AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER, OR IF IT DUE FOR APPROVAL BY AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER, OR YOUR PAPERS IS STILL IN THE MAIL ROOM, ETC.

I copied this from somewhere here. Thanks to the original poster (I forgot to take down the name). This is with minor changes already since the USCIS changed their menus.

Paris, Tomuts, since we filed almost at the same time, I think you should go try and call them. Isn't it better to know? hahha.. well, not really.. we got a bit depressed knowing that our case is still in the mail room.

:crying:
