Hi Tomuts,

My Hubby also was talking about moving in!! LOL He really was becoming impatient! But things are a little bit okay there now and he is so busy, he forgets about it now!! LOL!!!!

Yeah the thing is i like it better there than i do here . only thing keeping me here is taking care of my elderly parents.

Good morning all coffee #3 lets hope for approval today

Hi Tomuts,

Why dont you try to bring them over here? Philippines has a tropical climate which is nice for elderly people. Cold is not good for them. My husband and I are planning to stay here in my country for good, we just need to save up for our retirement. He likes it here and of course I love my place. In fact my husband's parents are already here in the Philippines, living in Pampanga. They just visit the US once in a while.

Yeah, I understand. Moving out is not really a nice idea, its tiresome plus the fact that u have to adapt to new environment, and mingle with unfamiliar people with an unfamiliar language particularly for elderly people, but there is no harm in trying, who knows they like it here just like my in laws. By the the way, I will be visiting my in laws on the 26th of this month and might be staying for more than a week!

Got to be close to MOm and Dad! LOL :help:

here is why i believe theres some delay in approvals ..

i really (before getting approved ) and as i saw that i hoped to be approved before it just feeling it will be a reason for delaying

and this is only my believing ..may be its right or wrong. .dont know ..but wanted to share with you all

source www.uscis.com

WASHINGTON—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced that it will begin accepting H-1B petitions subject to the fiscal year 2010 (FY 2010) cap on April 1, 2009. Cases will be considered accepted on the date that USCIS takes possession of the petition; not the date that the petition is postmarked.

The numerical limitation on H-1B petitions for fiscal year 2010 is 65,000. Additionally, the first 20,000 H-1B petitions filed on behalf of aliens who have earned a U.S. masters’ degree or higher are exempt from the fiscal year cap.

WASHINGTON April 9, 2009 — USCIS announced an updated number of filings for H-1B petitions for the fiscal year 2010 program.

USCIS has received approximately 42,000 H-1B petitions counting toward the Congressionally-mandated 65,000 cap. The agency continues to accept petitions subject to the general cap.

U.S. businesses use the H-1B program to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields, such as scientists, engineers, or computer programmers.

i believe some how and with no doubt that this number of petitions for alien workers caused a noticable delay in petitions that we seek ..as USCIS is required to process these kind of petitions by law in 6 MONTHS no more ..as it expire ...and in turn tht mean shifting resources for such a job ...

and we already started to see delays in approvals even t CSC starting april first ...

please share me all wht u think ...hope this is not true and we go forward all with approvals

Hey Egypt, good afternoon!!!

Yes your correct, did you also know the VSC is handling the majority of those mentioned petitons, and that is why VSC transfers so many petitions to CSC, and in which causes a delay at times. BUt VSC still has many family petitions still there from as early oas October, and those are the ones that truly get put on back burner due to the workers visas and etc. Im sorry, its not fair for the families, a workers visa is approved much faster then a family petition, that is wrong to me.

Anyways, hope your feeling better and rested from your journey yesterday. That was very nice of you to meet with Tarek, your a true gem!!!

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
