how can ya tell? *guzzles more coffee*

On the instructions on the I-130 it tell if you live in such in such state, it will be at ?? Yours is suppose to go to Vermont cause I know where your located and mine is also scheduled to go to Vermont, but I understand VSC is still over whelmed, and may automatically go to CSC.

You will know where your petition will be at, it will be on your NOA 1 when you receive it.

How many cups so far this morning? Me 5

I would agree with Paris words ..but not completely

they move your petition as known according to your state .

sometimes yes its moved from VCS to CSC (sometimes ) but this is rare ..and happens when theres huge numbers at a service center than the other ...lately the number of petitions were submitted is lower comparing to the last year ..beside alot of approvals took place in the last two months ( and still ),also lets not forget the economical problems recently showed which made alot ALOT of ppl rethink or postpone petitioning waiting to see whats going to happen

i want to make a point here ...ppl think the CSC is faster than VSC ..this is CORRECT some how but not always the case

i have a friend who sent his I-130 to Vermont after being married for his Us wife for 4 months, the petition was sent on july31 ,,and he still study at the school in egypt ..he was APPROVED on DEC 29 (148 days nearly)

i got some information about how and why its like that ...and it was so clear that it depends on the country of the Beneficiary ,,,its you wait in line according to your country ..for example Indian most of times wait so long as many many Beneficiary are from India...(just an example )

some other factors depend on documents that were sent ..and little depend on LUCK .(hope such informations were useful)

so cheer up all ...and GOOD luck .

your Husband in france on a visa student ..

thats not a big deal as the USCIS deal with the beneficiary origin country ..but to be more clear and understanding,,let me know what the information ur husband used to fill his G-325A form ..i meanhe filled it with his origin country address and nationality or the country he is now ?..assuming the information was the origin country ( and thats the way it should be sure ) so you should know that the form DS-3032 ( later when ur petition move to NVC ) to choose Agent that will be sent to him will be sent to the origin country of his born ,also the consulate letter and interview will be sent to his address he put in the G325A that belongs to him

so u must be aware both he will need to be in touch with his old address at least so that when its time for such a form he send it back ..and also be prepared for returning back when its consulate letter and interview (hope that wont interrupt his exams or study )

if any Question please let me know all

Good Luck..

He put his France address on the G-325A forms, and I used that address for him on the I-130 form.. I plan on having my name as the Agent .

Now on G325 A form, he put as nationally Algerian and Citizenship as Algeria. and as I mentioned, he put his France address on the G-325A form.

I thought since he is in France on a Visa, he would be interviewed in Paris at the Embassy there. Em I wrong???

Okay after going to USCIS website, I pulled down the 2 forms: I-130 and the G245A. I-130 asks for address for him. So I put the France address cause he is living there on a student Visa. On the G-325A forms, it does not ask for a current address, but for citizenship I put Algeria cause he is a citizen of Algeria and for nationality I put Algerian, cause he is a Algerian. I dont think any paperwork would be sent to Algeria unless we used that address. Even when I talked to the Embassy in Paris, they knew he is there on a student visa and told me he would interview there. So I think NVC will send docs to the France address, but I will be the agent on the form.

Em I okay??? yeah I think Im okay. After all, as I mentioned I talked the the Immigration officer at Embassy when we were trying to get married again. Okay, Im going to breath again.

there should be problem Paris .

but to make sure he will stay in france by the time the approval and the nvc process start ..if he moves alot thats a headache for u and him ..cz if he change the address ..the uscis need to be informed bla bla bla ..u get me ?

i also see u prepare for NVC forms ...be advised that police certificates have validity time friend ...its 3 months only ..so making in now is a waste of money and time actually ..so no way to get it ready only when its asked ...BESIDE police certificate is required for all the countries the individual lives or was in since the age of 16 and for more than 6 months ..so be advised please he will need to have police certificate from the country he was born at ( Algeria) and any other country he stayed at for 6+ months and up,,,rest of documents can be translated and done earlier ..just these ones tht require validity or expire must be done on the suitable time ( informations are gathered from USCIS and NVC links )

best of luck ..and welcome to any Questions .

Oh yes my new friend, he will stay in France till this is over with. Yes, I know.Luckily he only has to get 2 police reports, Algeria and France.

The France one is easy to get , the Algerian one is a pain. My father in law obtained him one, but he said he would obtain another one when we ask him too, I wanted to get one now so the translator can translate it, and when we get another one, all she has to do is change the dates and the issue number on her translations and etc. Much easier, understand?? Im trying to get all prepared again. Thaank you for your help.

Talk with you soon. And Good Luck to you and yours also.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

As far as I know, it depends on the country.. I've read here some countries valid for 1 year, and for my country it's valid for 6 months, that's why I haven't process that one yet :)

Hi guys!

I'm new here. I've been researching all information about the IR-1 for a long time. Finally, we've decided to send I-130 in. I sent out all my supporting documents to my husband back in American last week. My package isn't there yet. It has been for a week now that pisses me off. I think it will get there tomorrow, I hope. I should send my package with UPS or Fed-ex instead our national post office..

I'm so stressful since i sent out all papers..haha..BTW, good luck for everyone including myself..heheh

Cheers! and G'day

Hey lilies,

Yeah! As soon as he gets my package, he will send out I-130 'caz I need him to sign on the I-130 and G-325A. He has to put his picture, and some other supporting document like affidavit from the 3rd party (his boss wrote that for us). I wish he will send them out this week. I can't wait anymore..haha..I've been waiting to be with him almost 4 years now. I'm going to be crazy..haha..
