Hey all... another march filer here...

We have our NOA1 and since then, I've printed out the second round of forms for the NVC so I can read and learn and do a dry run to make sure I don't have any real questions or problems filling it in -- I'm still waiting to hear anything at all about the I-130 approval and it's sort of killing me... I think I check that damn website about 5 times a day just looking for a touch or something. But in the meantime, I'm working, seeing friends, reading and writing but I find that's it's made me more stressed out because I find that I'm ready to be with my husband in real life. I'm tired of doing everything over the distance. Chitchatting, fighting, talking, planning trips to see each other. That's the hardest part as it's expensive to fly all the time and to take time off work just so I can be the person I like best. I want to have a packet of money when I move but I also want to spend some time with my guy.

Anyway... the waiting is rough -- I'll be thrilled if our first package gets approved and then we can move on to the next step which I hope will be faster. I did read a rumour though that since I'm in Canada, it takes longer? I'm curious about that too...

I will probably also have a million questions about the second steps but that being said, I'll also be able to help answer questions for anyone going through the initial stages.

It's been a long process of waiting... waiting to get our marriage license approved, waiting to get our marriage certificate after we got married... waiting, waiting, waiting...

Anyway... hi all March filers... just thought I'd talk to you about some stuff that I'm sure you're all well versed in as well.

Morning LGG, first of all, dont believe rumors. Candadians can be approved just as fast as anyone else. Its all in luck of how fast a USCIS officer has your petition in their stack!!! I too try to keep busy, I also get frustrated of keeping a "Normal" marriage 5000 miles away, its hard at times, chit chatting over internet with web camera, planning agendas over the internet, going over the monthly bills via web camera, UGH!!!! BUt we have to , for now that is.

We will all be here for any questions on the 2nd voyage of this journey, I know I have many. Hang in there LGG, we all in this big mud hole together.

All the best,

Paris Heart

I feel hthe same way, just waiting and waiting and waiting.. and my husband tells me I'm very impatient. School is already out for summer vacation, and I haven't found a job yet, and I might NOT find any job with all these economic BS. So, what do I do?! Keep reading about this whole visa process, I'm sure after a couple of months i can recite all of these even when I'm sleeping! hahaha.

It's frustrating to not be able to touch and be with my husband but I try to get by. One day at a time I guess.

Hope our papers will fly faster. Mine's kinda slow, don't know why... maybe it's the officer working on it. Maybe it's because there's lots of people applying from my country. Who knows.

well... don't leave us in suspense!!! hahah :bonk:

I'm telling my hubby about march filers who got their NOA2, people who filed a few days earlier than me, and he says well, we are still a week or so in the line.. I think he's getting tired of me talking about the visa.

i've checked the damn USCIS website as soon as I open my eyes and last thing I check before I go to sleep. Talk about addiction!

Plus, I'm logged in here almost the whole day everyday!

Paris, did you make the excel file for us March filers already?? hehe I'm sorry I'm not trying to boss you around.. just wondering. I'm curious about the data.

OH!! BTW, is there any case here where people got RFE before they received their NOA2? Or an RFE together with their NOA1?? Curious, curious.

Hey TNGIRL, how are you? I do same thing, wake up check USICS, get ready for bed, check USCIS, LOL

I started on the list, but had a bad week, so did not work on it. I will tomorrow. Today I've been chatting with husband on internet.

I dont think anyone on March filers got RFE before approval, been pretty well clean cut.

Hang in there, its still early, we should be approved by end of April, and the month is off to a get start of approvals already.

Talk with you later.

Truly happy!!!
