Actually, I kind of want mine to take a few months..mainly because my husband will not be back from Kuwait due to the US Army until April 2010. But if it comes sooner, then thats great too. I am SO happy for you. Now once you're done NVC then you're good to go.

im working on these papers ..but actually didnt do much still

there was an error on my BC and im fixing it ..will take still up to 10 days from now (i was there today )

beside i wait for my city to put in motion the production of the new electronic passports ,so i dont wana get hurry and issue the old style one then need later to change it again ..but if it happend and an approval came .i will do the old one no doubt

mean while and till that time im working on filling forms ..arranging papers ..translating and notarizing ..an mywife already don with her part (AOS)...

so lets say things are stuck at that point ...but i do my best ...

there was an error on my BC and im fixing it ..will take still up to 10 days from now (i was there today )

beside i wait for my city to put in motion the production of the new electronic passports ,so i dont wana get hurry and issue the old style one then need later to change it again ..but if it happend and an approval came .i will do the old one no doubt

mean while and till that time im working on filling forms ..arranging papers ..translating and notarizing ..an mywife already don with her part (AOS)...

so lets say things are stuck at that point ...but i do my best ...

Well I already signed the DS-230 part 1 whenever I still in the US with my hubby. But we haven't done other preparation. I need to change my name too in my passport to my married name. The embassy here told me that I just need ask Indonesian's imigration to make an amandment about my name on my old passport. But, if USCIS still haven't approved my I-130 until July, then I definitely have to make a new passport since the old one will expired on Jan 2010. I still cant start proscess the police certificate, since it's only valid for 6 months.

Anyway, about translating documents, do US embassy usually mention which translator?

as of translating ..our american embassy in cairo here state there a list of the translators and attorneys tht are accepted ..

so i dont have any problem with tht as i mentioned ..all wht im waitng is the correction to be made ..then take the BC .MARRIAGE ..MILITARY for translating ,,,and will put the police one on hold so it be up to date .

search ur country website ..no doubt they list translators name there ..their addresses and phone number ..may be also emails as its here .

We filed DCF in Frankfurt on March 2nd. Can't check the status, as the Embassy doesn't have the online checking system. Sent them an email already, but the answer was that the approximate processing time is 90 days. I hate this waiting, not knowing what's going on

I still need to redo my passport to my married name. I'm waiting for my new SIN number to come with my married name and then I can do that. Then I need another copy of my marriage certificate and my birth certificate. And then I'm going to see my doctor for the vaccinations I need. (:
