Hi March filers..We got the RFE notice yesterday.And the papers they need is here with me.My husband was in Iraq right now and he cant send it also.We only used the address of his friend in the states.Can I send the papers they need?Please enlightened me now....

I dont see why not, but you also have to send the Original RFE notice with your evidence they are asking for. Do you have that Jeany??

You won't believe this... I Fedex my RFE this morning because I fear that USCIS might not receive it. But somehow as soon as I Fedex my RFE out and return home. I got an email message from USCIS (see below).

So... I contact Fedex to cancel the delivery. FYI - I had to fedex my RFE out because my RFE is set to expire within 3 days from now excluding weekend.

Anyway, i'm just dropping by to let you all know that USCIS have received my RFE that I sent out on September 15, 2009.

Okay then , you MUST send them a photo copy of the divorce decree!!! You dont need a original or a certified copy now, but will need at the interview.

OMG, TNgirl...

That is one HELL Of a crazy-a** story -- I can hardly believe it! Good people are out there, though, right?

And I have to tell you, I have slipped into the doldrums big time waiting for an interview date. Montreal sucks so hard I can't believe. All the other consulates schedule interviews well in advance within a week or two, maybe a little more after completion. There are Canadians who finished beginning of JUNE who still do not have an interview date. IT's so crazy and heartbreaking. And like I've written in about three spots already, we can't plan SH!T, we can't buy plane tickets or rail tickets or even plan a visit. yeah, we're close enough but a ticket is still 500$ plus time off work and all that other stuff.

I'd grab the interview if they let me and at the rate we're going, I will not be getting one for November, I can feel it, I may not even get one for December.

Montreal is full of sh!t. Too bad it's my favourite Canadian city -- I am developing hate feelings about it. .

Randy09, I suggest you start keeping track of what's happening in your case in USCIS. I don't know if they still receive calls but generally I suggest calling once every 15 days. Just so you don't get caught with nasty surprises. It's bad enough that they sent you RFE ... twelve days allowance to comply is just adding insult to the injury.

Anyway, March Filers... I have more USCIS ####### stuffs for you guys.

I got my GC today! Whoo hoo!!! The thing was it was mailed to me from some doctor in California. Yep!! Believe me when I tell you I got the surprise of my life when a hand written mail came to my mailbox addressed to me! Hell!! I don't know anybody here to receive mails from a real (non-computer generated mails) person. SO I opened the mail, thinking maybe it is my docs appointment for follow up shots. When to my utter and complete surprise there was a note inside and an unopened mail from USCIS. The guy says he got it in his mail and thought that it was something important... he didn't know how it got in his mail. It was super duper nice of this guy to send me the USCIS mail instead of sending it back to the post office. So there... I guess my USCIS journey just could not end the usual way. Hehehe. Started off with a NOA1 that was not printed due to some computer glitch and ended with my GC in some dude's mailbox in California.

Hola! I'm currently in Vegas... We just helped a friend to move out of Vegas to North Carolina. It's been great but tough at the same time. Last night I dreamed about the food back home and nothing that I have eaten so far have satisfied my cravings. Not to say that the food here sucks, but it is just different and nothing really taste the same... No even Mc Donalds. I do like the weather here... Sunny bt not humid and then not too muggy at night. Oh!! I seen a shooting star too!!!! Aint that something?

Many ups and down lately... Maybe it is the adjustment or whatever, but i'm still glad i'm done with the whole visa process.
