hello everyone

i know some may be angry from me as of not being here lately and also for not posting

im so sorry about this i will be back in 3 days from now

im so so eager to have time reading all my friends comments and know their progress :)

as of me my timeline can tell my news and later i will put more details about the Interview at the Embassy review

best of luck to all :)

Congrats on the visa, shocker you did not get AP, your VERY lucky there. Cairo is one tough embassy.

thanks for everyone who is happy and wished me good luck

im not shocked as of that ...i was able by my way to prove my relation is real; thts the reason

i got some talk with the consul at the end of the Interview and was told that Ap either its for name check or investigating the truth of the relation ship ...

well ..good Luck al of you my friends

will be here soon to catch up

take care all

Not receiving AP is rare at Cairo, very few cases manage to avoid AP. Having the wife there may of helped, I believe both parties should attend a interview, especially if difficulties in cases, or mild thing, such as a large age difference, 10 years or more, a long time in back ground check completion, or possibly if the petitioner or beneficiary has been in the immigration process before. There are so many factors to consider.

When are you arriving in USA? I think TNGirl is schedule to arrive LAX today from her timeline.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Husband called was told to email and got an email back saying to call.....dunno if it's just a generic email back or not so he wants to wait a few days. Getting to the point of totally hopeless, I just want to know something REALLY anything at this point

I am a March Filer and I called California Service Center since it was 5months for my I130 and according to them they are processing applications from March 15 right now. Which is bull because people after that are already getting approved, but I guess nothing can be done but to wait and see,

i got a litte chat with the consul about the AP .,..she told me only two things they look for ...a name check , and/or relationship investigation ; my Interview took me 30 Min believe it or not ..and i was asked several deep question , she left nothing starting how we met till my wife last year income , and after the interview she asked for all the pictures ...emails , phone records and asked me to wait and to be called again after she go through them ..then when iwas called again she told me she will approve my Visa ...it wasnt an easy interview realy ...

:dancing::dancing: WOOO HOOO!!!!:dance: Tngirl and I arrived at LAX at 7:30 tonight. Went through regular customs then was sent to imigrations. turned in the MBE, did fingerprints, and then was told to go claim our baggage and come back. Got our luggage and returned to the desk and sat down to wait. 20 minutes later she was called to the desk, given her passport with the stamp and told welcome to the USA! We are spending a day and half here then flying to Nashville on friday and back to work for us next week. She will post more later. :dead: after a 13 hour flight were ready to sleep! :sleepy:

Yep, I can now. It's something, other than we received it and it's on a shelf. Knowing something is SO much better than knowing nothing.

Hello!!! I'm here in LA now!! Whoo hoo!!!! Thank you everyone for all the help that I have obtained here in VJ.

Got on the plane August 26th (Manila Time), the travel agency was able to book exit seats for us so there was tons of leg room and we were able to move around freely. We were also three or four steps away from the toilet so it was nice and comfy and no hassle at all. Albeit, my a$$ hurts with all the sitting involved (13 hour flight). I was the first one off the plane! Whoo hoo!!!! And first one on the immigration line.

POE was great. No hassle at all. I went through the US Citizen line first since I was with my husband. They took the arrival cards and stamped it. The officer there asked for the packet and he took my fingerprints. He returned the packet and I was directed to the last booth (first time immigrant). Went there, I was asked to sign a couple of forms, took my right index fingerprint and was told that we could claim our baggage while they process the papers. We went to the baggage claim area got our bags and returned to the waiting area in the first time immigrant booth. Few minutes later, my name was called and I was given back my passport, told the standard welcome lines and hurray!!! We were on our way to the motel already.

We had breakfast this morning at IHOP a few blocks away from the motel. BOY! The food was amazingly super big!!! I told my husband that my food alone is good for 3-4 persons already back in Philippines. I've been watching TV too and it kinda throws me off because even the commercials are in English language. I keep waiting for someone to say something in Filipino. That's it, we've been sleeping all afternoon. We are flying to Nashville tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see our house in TN.

Husband and I are so happy to finally get the whole visa process over with, at least for another 21 months, then it is removal of conditions for us.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!
