Yes once the NVC issues the form, then the beneficary can sign it and email to NVC. But always good to have one already prepared and signed by the beneficary so the couple can move fast thru the NVC.

Truly happy!!!

Hey Mohan... I just PMed you but thought I'd post on board to for anyone else...

The AVR system is about 2-4 days out of sync with things -- we sent our IV package last THursday and it got to the NVC on Friday morning. This, however, does not meant that NVC recognizes that the AOS package and IV package are linked as just because it's in the building, does NOT mean that it's in the system.

NVC even issued us a RFE checklist for the DS230 and our DS230 was already at NVC. AFter getting this checklist, I called NVC and was told that mail from us had arrived but had not been input in the system. I called again today and the AVR says that the checklist requirement, the DS 230, has been received.

I think this all just goes to show that the systems are backlogged and the AVR is out of whack. It's stressful I know but so far, after a couple of days of fretting, things get back on track.

Dont' worry Mohan... check tomorrow and see what the AVR says. Could take a day or two.

Best to everyone.

Well i got my RFE in the mail yesterday :( it was for my birth Cert , said they needed the long form b.c. i had sent them a certified copy but had got it at my local court house and not at the one in Titus county where i was actually born..... guess that was dumb on my part but honestly i didn't know there was a difference.... I just hope it doesn't delay my case to long. its gonna take about a week or longer to get them to mail it to me.... Good luck with everyone's case hopefully we will all get approved this month........

Hey girl...

Oh my god, you just made me super jittery! All I can think of is, OMG, what kind of real RFE are they going to find??? I do wonder, they've had my husband's AOS papers for about 3 weeks now, I wonder if that means that his stuff was good to go? I had a few minor concerns but didn't know if the were things that would be RFEd for? Now I"m all freaked out about what they'll find or NOT find in my IV package.

But thanks, TN... good luck to you too, eh? It'll be nice when all of our stuff is done and we can relax for a little while.

:)

Hi Kristy!

have you tried calling the NVC and asking if they would accept and Emailed copy now and you just bring the long form during your interview?

Something in my appointment letter says something to that effect. Maybe they will just complete your case and you can bring your bc to the interview.

Just a thought, might be a long shot but you might want to try.
