Hello March Filers!!

I just want to share my happiness today! Guess what? I got a mail from USCIS saying we are approved as of July 27!!!!

I am so happy! At last we are approved!!!! after 4 months of waiting!

NVC here we come!

Ber+Ter, thanks. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm trying to not log in in VJ. As you can see, I did not succeed! Hahahahaa. I've gone to the AP 221 section and it scared the ###### out of me. I'm not going back there until I get approved!

@EVERYONE: I'm sorry the excel file is not working. I have absolutely no idea what happened to it. It is still set to view without the need to log in but I've received two PMs about it not working. I'm trying to figure out what happened. Please bear with me.

Don't twist my words please! That's uncool. And for the record, Filipino is not a race, it's a nationality.

To some it is offensive, made it feel like a race or something. You dont see CONGRATS to Egyptian, or Arabic, or Indian.

We are suppose to be in this together, but at times, its seems like we are not.

i have a little Filipino satisfaction about seeing somebody from my country move on to the next stage, it does not make me a racist. And Nor is a good friend of mine. We chatted for a while through mobile phone couple of months back so if I'm extra happy for her, don't shoot me.

AND as I said, FILIPINO is not a race. It is a nationality. Filipinos are mostly from Malay race but we are already a melting pot here so there are also some Filipinos who are of the Yellow Race (the most common ones are the Chinese, like me). It's more of a national pride and if having a sense of national pride is bad then I'm sorry. But I'm not a racist and I won't be sorry for my comment. It was meant as "Congratulations Nor, as a fellow filipino, I'm so happy you're moving to the next stage."

quit the racist thing please! i don't have to tell you how many ignorant people would love to jump on this thread and make accusations just so they'd be popular. you know me enough to know that i did not mean it that way, if you don't believe me then whatever we've been through since March is a total waste of time and energy on both our ends.

YES I agree, drop it. You have no idea of how I feel. My whole life, marriage is under a microscope, Im debating of giving up my life, my birth country USA, NOBODY has any idea of what we are going thru with this nightmare.

A simple mistake on the courthouse screwed up my life, and I did the right thing and withdrew our first petitions, and did things again legally with my husband, we have nothing to hide, but now since we married via proxy, its all under a microscope, every email, chat, bank record. credit card statement, cause we could not get it right to marry face to face. Im done, there is nothing left in me, and last thing I want is bad blood with you or anyone.

I got my NOA2 on July 14th. But still no NVC number. They're so stupid. And my husband is paper work retarded so I have to walk him through his I-864. Just a question though tngirl or LGG, the I-864 is for 2009 right? o_o Present year?

We submitted the last three tax years.

I suppose since tax season is over, you have to include 2009, 2008, and 2007.

Latest Excel File <Because I can't understand why the sharing function is not working. If anybody else has an update... feel free to post it here and I'll update and publish it again.

Not to sound rude, but why would the 2009 tax year be over? I mean, it's not over yet. ._.;

We have tax transcripts for 2008, 2007 and 2006 but we still have to do the I-864 since he did not make 100% above poverty nor 125%. He got into a really bad car accident. Thank god he lived.

He's making it now and that is what matters. Plus once I'm down there, he'll start getting paid for dependents so it's not the issue.

But yeah, I think I'm so confused. I've ended up doing like 90% of this process by myself because he hates paperwork.

And great job on the excel, it looks so pretty and colourful!

I heard that some got away with that even if they didn't meet the poverty level. I don't know how many percentage of success though.

Well, he's making well over the 125% mark now even though he only needs to prove he can make 100%. So we're fine! But yes, I was going to say Ivy, are you living in the future? Because I'm still back here in 2009.

I'm sure it will be fine! We just have to wait until one of his commanding officers get back. I feel...nervous with leaving Terrance to do the 1-864 bit by himself.
