It's okay if you call, Ber... they invite the petitioner and the beneficiary to call. they'll just ask you his name and date of birth as well as your own -- that's the beauty of NVC, you CAN call and that

saves a lot of time and waiting and such. Check the automated message first and then, occasionally, get to a live operator and see what's up. It's super easy that way. Just make sure that you have all the docs and stuff from him that you'll need for the AOS and such. We're doing it two way, he's sending in his package and I'm sending in my DS 230 stuff. Don't know how you guys are doing it but it's a start if you can figure that out.

so we got the I 130 approval now when do we get into contact with the NVC? I was reading Ling ches shortcuts and it says to call after a few days but how do we know when to call? and what is the number? lol. i dont know anything about what to do next except that i got all the forms the want ready. thanks guys for all the help.
