hello!! we got an RFE today.. for what we don't know yet. BUT we have a good guess that this is about our tax transcript.

We were expecting this but still it breaks my heart to hear such bad news.

Ah well, life moves on... we'll just have to be brave and deal with this situation.

a bit worried about our taxes... bad economy and all. but we'll see what happens.

Congratulations on completing your case in NVC, it would be good to hear if you get an interview date soon and gets approved. Give us some hope for our petitions. Good luck!

1. does it have to be a tax transcript that you send or can you send copies of your tax returns with evidence it was received by the IRS?

2. is it the last year's tax return or the last two years' tax returns you have to send?

I've been following your case as we're in the same group and all and I just wanted to say that I was sorry to read about your RFE.... I know it must suck a bit. But, to look on the bright side, you flew

through the first bit of the process and you sound together and wise and organized -- you'll fly through this too. Just wanted to say hey and that I'm sorry you got an RFE. Best of luck -- you'll be just fine, I know it.

1. does it have to be a tax transcript that you send or can you send copies of your tax returns with evidence it was received by the IRS?

2. is it the last year's tax return or the last two years' tax returns you have to send?

most people here sent in their tax transcripts... we didn't. we sent our tax returns. I'm not yet sure what the RFE is all about... so I can't say for sure. This is just us guessing about the contents of the RFE.

we sent in three years of tax returns (2008, 2007 and 2006) as advice by the shortcut here.

W2 forms are issued by your employer at end of the year, shows your earnings, this is what you do your taxes with, and these are reported to IRS. Im not sure how self employed used to show their reported earnings. HUM??? Hope you get this straightened out soon. RFE are the worst!!, at any stage of this hellish immigration nightmare.

THE BUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I should know for sure by end of day tomorrow. But I did get email from them at 7pm my time on Monday that they resummed processing of my case. So maybe I pray this evening.

quick question for sophie: dont know whats next on the ivr its says ""NVC has received AOS fee bill ______ and will send further instructions within next few weeks, if Nvc didnt received i864 support form pls press 0." i only paid for the $70 since thats what i have on the invoice and the choice of agent.. i dont know whats next to do prepare? after...thanks again any help is highly appreciated..

i dont know why u stopped waiting for them to send u any instructions ..actually they wont ...and i dont understand why u waited to hear they received the money .

AS the status turn to be PAID at the online payment system so u r ready to print the DOCUMENT COVER SHEET that show u paid ..and put it with the package that u should prepare to send directly to NVC ...

please read the WIKI about NVC process and how to go a head fast there ..this way it will take months ...
