For FY 2009, USCIS announced on April 8, 2008 that the entire quota for visas for the year has been reached, for both 20,000 Advanced and the 65,000 quota. USCIS would complete initial data entry for all filing received during April 1 to April 7, 2008 before running the lottery

ok so i saw in another post, probably in this same thread, where they center can turn out 50,000 approvals each month

so in about 2 months they should be able to pick up back the family petitions again

that would make it around mid-june that we'll start to hear more approvals..... hopefully........

Why does it state April 2008???? The lottery, isnt that the Diverstiy Lotery? Boy Im confused.

Oh well. Being confused is aprt of the immigration process. LOL Oaky back to scrapping tiles off the floor. UGH!!!

FIrst of all NO throwing lap tops across the room they dont fly well, much less land well.

Yes that question should be banded. Bets called me last night, she is fine, just cleaning up after house sitter. Funy we ere talking about that of Co sponsors on the phone last night, you would of had a few good laughs on it.

All we can do MENA sis is wait, nobody knows when that golden email will come. Go make me so rainbows and sunshine, This scrapping tiles off the floor is killing me, not to mention the hands and knees. UGH!

I have a lap top that met the ground on very unfortunate circumstances hince the NEW one in February LOL.... wallah i wasnt the one who threw that one.

I did make many hearts and stars me and the girls painted a new toy box for their room.. my eldest better be a picaso when she gets older I am so sick of painting

Started fixxing the house up to keep my mind off the waiting ... so far kitchen got finished warm vanilla with milk choc brown under chair rail and a stencil i just started. Looking to find a good cheap crpwn molding and base board replacement.

im better its just worse when your SO says when do you think blah blah I need a remote with a mute button for others... lol at least im laughing today

As long as we're all approved before the 6 month mark, then I will be happy. 6 months is September, so let's hope! Maybe the summer will speed some things up...or slow it down because people will want to go on vacations.

I have similar feelings. Some days are harder than others, but I KNOW we did prepare the best file possible and we had power THEN. Now, it's the waiting game (and a lot of the waiting has to do with where you fall in the pile of papers there) and if I was whining about it all day long it would seem worst to me. But that is me

Last time when my hubby filed for K1 in feb they sent us denial decision on 26th of sep. I hope to have approval before September .

just wanted to let everyone know that we just paid our IV bill.

NO idea what happened to our AOS yet, I haven't talked to hubby in days now... he's off in Canada and I'm in Singapore now.

I see still no approval except little sofia. I hope everyone is doing good.

I'm still worried about the AOS but I try to not stress myself too much.
