USCIS background check is done for both Petitioner and beneficiary ..and most of the times dont take long ..only rare cases it happened to be months ...

NVC Ap happen 95% for K1 filers ..it seems to be randomly choose 20% of the K1 to put them under AP

and sometimes its applied for CR1-IR1 but so rare ..and the time frame vary from 4-8 weeks max

Embassy AP is mainly for the beneficiary and for some countries .SEPCIALLY middle east and some Asian countries, and some other Islamic countries ..Pakistan is famous with long AP if u look to time lines and comments ...

such type of AP at embassy level can take from month to some cases more than a year ....

Nor, I know. I know. I'm half filipina a so when they crack jokes, they laugh and laugh, and they're just so loud. I've actually applied and been accepted into Criminology at the local college but it makes no sense to me to start then have to move. I'm not going to wait 4-5 years to be with my husband. Plus the military is helping I believe. Or I may join the army for 2 years. Hm. I wonder, I wonder. They've already tried to recruit me!

In the mean time I am getting everything together for NVC, and am wondering who if anyone signs the DS230 for minor children? My kids are 11 and 9. Also can I send it copies of marriage certificate with there's as the originals will go in with mine. We will send everythin together when the time comes?
