Aw, no where, I hope you feel better before the day is done. And I'm sorry TN ! I would definately check that out anyway, and at least you know about a direct flight from the Philippines to North America now! I use it whenever I fly down to the Philippines, it's kind of pricey, but you'd be paying in CDN...but our dollar is shot, so it'd actually be cheaper. haha!

Husband called today and was told our case was assigned to an officer May 7th. USCIS website still says received and pending with the date of March 19th as the last touch.

It's nice to know something has happened with it and it's not in the mail room.

ah!! finally completed my DS230 package and sent to husband via Fedex. Cost me Php1300.... (Php 48 = 1 USD).

now just waiting for NVC's email.... tick tock!

Hi Tn,

Im so happy for both of you. I hope to receive our NOA2 soon. I cant believe how long you waited for your NOA1 before but now, things are getting so speedy for you!!

What do you think is the cheaper but faster courier? I used LBC before when I sent some docs to Hubby but it took like three days before he received them. Is Fedex a little faster? How long does it take before your Hubby receives them?

Hi everyone.

Hello Nor, Will do...but I don't know what's going on with mine. o_o I haven't called and my husband can't. :/

It seems Sdw's timeline is close with mine and we're from the same beneficiary country. SO MAYBE my petition is with an officer too. One can only dream! I hope so. Anyway. o_o But maybe they'll be mean because my husband and I are only early 20's but we sent proof of on going relationship dating back to like 2005 just in case they decide that my husband and I married after a short relationship. xD

But we should be fine, we sent like a bazillion pictures. :3 hehe.

Hi everyone.

Uhm... well Fedex and DHL is two days.

I saw in the UPS website they deliver overnight or 1 business day... but they have very few offices in Philippines. Google UPS Philippines.

2GO and LBC i think are the same 3-4 days.

Regular mail via post office takes 15-20days

EMS (post office) should be half the time of Regular Mail.

Are you in a hurry to send the documents? If not, then 2go or LBC is okay.

My husband prefers UPS and DHL, but I sent mine through FEDEX! see?! We're starting our marriage just right! jk!

:wow: that sucks!!! but if they are doing background check then it means you are already assigned to an officer. Hang in there... it will be coming out soon.

Yes, we haven't called either. My husband is very busy working on his taxes and with his job coz this is the busiest time of the year for him. Might as well take the time to make some money. I cannot even call coz beneficiaries are not allowed to unless in a three-way call or if the husband is present when the call is made.

But we are still hopeful. I think we will gonna get it this May (or first week of June ) but May is so much better!

I really pray for it.

Thank you TN,

I will try if I can find UPS in my place. I want it faster as possible coz I cannot sleep unless the docs are in my Hubby's hands. LOL

Hubby doesn't want to wait long either!LOL

Hope to get NOA2 this week( last week of May)!! :crying: :crying: :crying:

Ha! No wonder the guy was so mean when I said I was the beneficiary. ._. I called last April on the 23, and he told me that it was in the file room. So, it was in line to be reviewed, the room between the mail room and officer. Then on the 24th, we got a touch. Gah, got to hate taxes. My husband finished his already. He's making enough now..he wasn't in 2007, and for half of 2008. He enlisted in the summer of 2008..hm, but I don't plan to go to the USA until April when he comes back...I'm tired. Time to sleep! Have a good night everyone! <3
