Congrats! And I hope we're approved soon sdw. I haven't seen any Canadian approvals so far. I heard it's because we have the longest processing time because we have no reason to go to the USA, other than to be with our spouses. Some guy told me that, he worked for immigration apparently. And I can't help but notice how many military wives this group has ahahaxD

We have the same reason as everyone else here, we all want to be with our spouses.

Hopefully things pick up soon.

Good Afternoon March Filers..My husband want to fill up the I-864 but there is line of the form that made us confused.

Like the line 21.My husband put no.1 in letter a,b and c..But in the instruction it says -DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE.My husband was so really confused about this thing. Please for those who already send the I-864.Please I need your help right now..Thanks in advance...

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10.

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself.

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

d. If you have dependent children, enter the number here.

e. If you have any other dependents, enter the number here.

f. If you have sponsored any other persons on an I-864 or I-864 EZ who are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here.

g. OPTIONAL: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here.

If u the only immigrant and no one else accompany you to the states ..then its MUCH easier to use I-864EZ

and that form can be ONLY used as i stated above ..if u r the only immigrant ..and in such a case ..the house hold size will be 2

if he will sponsor anyothers rather than u ..then he should use I-864

me and my wife used the I-864EZ and its complete and succeful ..

look the attached picture for more clearing

Good Luck

anyway

Good Luck

Hi no where man..We didn't get our NOA2.My husband just want to prepare everything before our NOA2.Cos for me also its better we prepare everything and ask about it before the day we going to submit it.

hey!! your husband is in Military right? I've seen Military spouses get expedite... have you check on that yet?? Wonder who that works.

Good luck!! I'm sure you'll be okay. I'm still waiting for my marriage Cert, takes 3 weeks to get printed by NSO.

We're not yet ready ready for everything... but we're hoping to get things done this weekend.. then just wait for my docs to be sent to my hubby.

okay.. done calling NVC... gave them our email.

going to sit and wait for some movement again... *sigh*

hahahah... i think i might learn the virtue of patience after all!!

No touchs since April 24th, and no NOA2 either. :P I'll get my husband to call again soon, now that his connection got fixed in Kuwait. And what is INFOPASS? I've seen it before, but never really...gave it any thought. ><

Info Pass is a appointment you make with your local USCIS office. They will tell you in person what USICS will not tell you on a phone. For example what my RFE is about. Hand in there Berniece, Im sure NOA 2 will be here by end of May. And not much left of May.

i receive email from NVC today about my RFE status. And they send us checklist on what are lacking in our papers in Ds230 and i864

sorry to hear abt your RFE`s problem ...just follow the instructions and everything should go perfect

nothing for me up to date ...AOS is finished ..and complete ...ds-230 under review still ..i guess by the end of that week i may get a case complete ...may be earlier i hope

Good Luck for all who still wait for NOA2 ..waiting is so hard really

Good Night......

Nor, beneficiary needs to call, unless you call, then your husband must be in room to give them permission to speak to you about the case. I emailed you check yahoo. Thanks for your email. I bet you get NOA 2 by end of May.

Hugs,

Beth

Truly happy!!!

Nor, if you are the beneficiary you cannot call USCIS alone.

Have to have ur husband on the line too. My husband three ways me when he calls.

it is different for NVC, when you are waiting for the number all you hear is the AVR.

so i use Yahoo Phone Out for that.

Yeah, I'm sure things will pick up soon. There's Paris and Courtney, their papers landed on an officer's desk already. They're working real slow these days.. but I'm positive at least 2/3 of us here will get an approval before end of May and almost everyone by start or middle of June. The last tide of approvals came in by 2-3s... actually by 4-5s if you're going to include the Feb filers. Hang in there, soon the approval will come.

Do you have your NVC papers ready already? I haven't completed my DS230 attachments, still waiting for Marriage Certs... due to be printed on Monday. If you haven't done this... now would be a good time to start. If you have, keep reviewing your documents and keep on reading the RFEs people are having here and check your papers for these errors. It will keep you busy while waiting for the approval.
